It’s a Motel 6 and very much what you’d imagine a typical Motel 6 to be. The girl at the front desk was stellar— I have to be sure to put that out there. She was kind, bright, efficient, and I saw her carrying things to peoples’ doors, answering the phones, and managing the hotel’s laundry. Give her a raise.
The room looked like it had been “updated” relatively recently but not in a comprehensive way. It was more like a sheet of newer vinyl had been plastered over the previous one and some paint had been assed to the room. Fortunately, there was no carpet.
My kid enjoyed the pool, and I was grateful it was there. The proximity to Lake Sammamish can’t be beat. I’m just blown away by the price. It’s amazing what “the market will bear” in that area of the city. It’s not luxurious but it’s not a pit, either.
