Very pleasant hotel with character. The hotel needs an update in some areas but not a major problem for us. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooftop restaurant had amazing views of the city. We would definitely stay there again.

We gave our usual (hotel) go-to’s a miss & opted for some Turkish charm & hospitality. We were not disappointed! 8mins from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. 12mins Topkapi Palace. Minutes from Metro & Tram. Great breakfast spread-Continental & Local choices. Hot & cold meats. Baked goods. Fruit juice, yoghurt, soft fruit, watermelon, peaches, plums, grapes. It was delightful! -In Room. Free water & tea & coffee making facilities, -No pool, but Turkish bath downstairs. Treatments available. -Roof top restaurant with wonderful view of ancient monuments & river Bosporus. Excellent experience all round!

I have to inform this, hoping it does not reflect on the people working there, who were very kind: I was in room 304, and the small bed is infested with bed bugs. I thought at first I had some allergy, later confirmed typical lesions caused by bed bugs. So beware

OLD DINGY hotel. Hated it so much we left 2 days early. Scratchy towels and sheets. Ancient musty bedspread and curtains. Ancient bed headboard. Photos on website or doctored. Breakfast was marginal at best. This is a 2-3 star hotel. Not a 4 star hotel.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location, just a stone’s throw from the Grand Bazaar, was ideal. However, the room was smaller than expected for the price, and there was noticeable mold on the walls. While the room cleaner and breakfast service staff were exceptional, the front concierge left a bad impression by attempting to charge us more for an airport cab than other companies.
