We got off to a rough start with tv that does not work as well as a water leakage but it turned out well in the end. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels provide. Room on the other is not what it looks like in the picture. It could do with a makeover. Area around hotel is noisy in the early hours of the morning.

I stayed in the double room (Standard Cift Kisilik Oda). Overall, it was a wonderful stay. What I liked: -Great location! Very close to the main attractions, Istiklal Avenue, Taksim Square and Metro station. -40 inch TV with Netflix and YouTube -decent internet connection -small kitchen -staff and cleaning What I didn't like: -On some days in the middle of May the heating was turned on. To me it just didn't feel right in such a warm climate. I had to ask them to turn it down. -It wasn't a problem but having more kitchen utensils wouldn't hurt.

The room is in a different building than the tiny office, the room on the 3rd floor and the only option up is a tidy swirl stairs. There was no toilet paper but they got us a roll after I texted them. No phone in the room, have to text for anything. Walls are in very bad shape with mold over most ceilings. Electric wires were sticking out of the wall in the bathroom behind the mirror. There was a mini ironing board but no iron!! The staff were very friendly and professional but that doesn’t make up for the cheapness of the owner of this sub-motel who can make things a lot better for not much more! It is the most expensive room I have ever reserved with such poor quality! $120 was the rate and I had to pay before seeing the room! It was then too late to change my mind since the money became in their pocket! I will never recommend!

Nice and clean
Was a nice clean room and bathroom, check in took a little longer than I thought as they couldn’t find our reservation code, even after showing them email confirmation. But good location, few minutes walk to city centre, staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again

So horrible and unsafe
This please is horrible. Filthy and mould in the rooms. I was in bed while someone came into my room with another key?? Totally unsafe. Also they cancelled my booking after I stayed?? In order I do get night reward? Confused.

Very hard location to spot , no lift , my room was on forth floor and the staris was very small and narrow and they charge 50$ bucks just because it's near taxim square. I don't recommend this hotel at all And the picture is very old one I got very shocked when I entered the room, very dirty no AC working the shower is broken also, the towel was very old and had some spot on it Beware of this hotel just pay extra 10$ and go and had very clean hotel This is 1 star hotel is not 3 star

I stayed here while I was in Istanbul and chose it because it was extremely close to Taksim and Ikistal Caddesi. It's literally a 2 minute walk away, so I give this place props for being really close to the city center and near the bars and restaurants. The room itself was pretty nice. It had a kitchen and small refrigerator and a little stove you can cook on. The problem was, there were no pots or pans and nothing really to cook with, so it defeated the purpose of having a full kitchen. I requested from the managers and front desk a pot or pan or SOMETHING because I wanted to cook eggs in the morning for both nights I was staying there, and they said they would leave some in the morning for us on the doorstep. In the morning we saw nothing. And no word of the update or anything either. So we were left with no pots or pans and for some reason our room was leaking water, so our towels were used to mop up the floors. It's dead winter so why the heater would be leaking is beyond me. The beds were also very hard. A double bed is actually 2 beds put together, so there's a crack in the middle. Also ,the shower kept flopping down, so you had to stand thisclose to it in order to get a good rinse. It was quite inconvenient. I had a hard time enjoying this room due of the lack of service and amenities working properly. There is free Wi-Fi here and breakfast is not included.

Cute Turkish apartment
room was nice and spacious. they keep the apartment warm so it is cozy. Bathroom had a leak but it was fixed the next day. Very nice time. The area the hotel is located in is rather run down but they are fixing up the areas so it will be nicer. In a very good location but if you are walking you need to be in fairly good physical condition as the hills are steep.

WE had a lovely stay at this hotel and really recommend it! It was close to metro/Taksim/Galata towers and very easy to get around. We had a great balcony and fantastic view.The hotel was so nice and provided all things we needed even cooking supplies so we could make a meal in one night. We really enjoyed our stay and the helpful friendly staff.

Pros: 10m walk to Taksim Sq, awesome room, very spacious, comfy beds, friendly staff. Cons: can hear people chatting all night on the street, the neighborhood is pretty sketchy. Need to walk past/thru a few dark alleys to reach. Had no difficulty while I stayed there though.

Good Location... get what you pay for
Hotel is located very close to Taksim. Which is a little rough around the edges in the first place but very close to bars shops and cafes. The hotel itself is split between 2 locations of the office and another building. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and genuinely nice people. The room was ok, although cleaners had been smoking in there when they were cleaning with cigarette ends in the toilet, also the shower was more a trickle and took some convincing to work properly. Beds were very firm also, air con in the rooms was a plus. Would I stay there again? Yes
