We had a nice stay at this lovely house, within an easy walk of downtown, but away from the crowds of tourists. Breakfast was delicious! Our hosts arranged our transport to the airport and we really appreciated the “to go” snacks packed for our early morning departure.

This is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the proprietor established a friendly relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. The breakfast was large and delicious. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect choice for a few days stay in Juneau. We could walk to our destinations including the tour bus pick ups. Breakfast held us until dinner. Several close restaurants. Comfortable to hang out in afternoon after wet hikes or walks. Staying in a restored historic home adds a bit to the Alaska experience.

The best bed and breakfast experience we have had. The sweetest couple run it and both are so accommodating and hospitable. They think of things you don’t even think about that you may need. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was beyond amazing. Picture perfect and tasted as good as it looked. I highly recommend.

We really appreciated the extra mile that the hosts put into making our stay welcoming and comfortable. The extra tea, coffee, and snacks were great! If you ever wanna stay in Downtown Juneau, this is the absolute best place in town. The host are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable of the area. There is a great assortment of snacks, and a wonderful breakfast every morning. We will stay again!

Both of the hosts, Bing & Elizabeth, were wonderful! They made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable & very clean. The breakfast was GREAT each morning! Most hospital location we have visited in years. We had the misfortune to arrive in Juneau to find that our luggage had been transferred to a cruise ship …the ship had sailed with our four suitcases. The next day Elizabeth and Bing the proprietors of the Alaskan Capital Inn while looking after us also chased airlines/ transport companies to ensure that our four suitcases were located and returned to Juneau from Skagway where the cruise line had taken them! They then drove us to Juneau airport Cargo depot to collect the four pieces of luggage- when thanked their response ‘this is what we do’ …

Elizabeth and Bing love what they do and their magic and creativity are deeply felt. We had such a lovely time and adored both of them. You can’t find nicer people!! We loved our room, Bing’s cookies, and an awesome breakfast. It’s walkable to downtown but thankfully, far enough away find peace from the cruise crowds. It will be your highlight of your trip. Don’t stay anywhere else!
