Romantic Accommodation in Kaitaia

10/10! Beautiful place in an easy to access area, rooms are spacious and very accommodating. Beds are super comfy! Great room service too. Absolutely lovely woman who runs it. She has the cutest cat too❤️ super kind and easy to talk to, would absolutely love to see her again in February when we are back but it sounds like she’s moving on沈 I hope the new owners are as good as her

Ahipara is one of the greatest spots in NZ and this property has tremendous view, a really comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen including coffee machine. Best parking is just off the street under the house. Owners were very easy to deal with and allowed us the opportunity to arrive early. Overall a lovely week away.

Lovely fruit trees and orchard propertie Very nice wild flowers The house is run down condition The hot tub had NO water in it and had not been going for a while as had broken furniture in it The 2 x farm dogs that live outside on the propertie walk around the house barking at night We feel the add for the home stay and what reality was is dishonest. We had a terrible experience Who did the original 5 star rating of the propertie ?

A small but wonderful cottage on the outskirts of town. Quiet and rural, we wanted a place to relax without traffic or noise. There are sheep and cows in the area, chickens, some cute bunnies and pheasants running around. The owners are wonderful people who helped us throughout our stay. We stayed a week and although small, the cottage had everything we needed - and if not, the owners were right there helping. The outdoor seating area is great on spring and summer days, completely enclosed for comfort, a bbq, grill, and tables to enjoy, it complements the inside area which has the kitchen, bathroom, and bed area. There is always hot water, the cottage was super clean, no bugs to bother the outdoor eating area (nor inside), comfortable bed, and all cooking items that are needed. The only comment is that we left our suitcases on the porch area as there is no closet but, the owner brought over a clothes rack and we are happy to live out of our suitcases as we are competent nomads. We would definitely com back. Note for the area, there does not seem to be an active taxi service although there are a few in the town (you might see them), and car rentals are difficult - Rent a car before arriving in the area, it is much more convenient and less costly.

Great place to stay, staff were very friendly. Rooms were very very clean. Would definitely stay there again.
