Dryers don't function well. Took literally 30 hours to complete my laundry, it destroyed some of my white clothes due to oversteaming, and after 14 hours they still weren't dry and needed to be hung overnight. Not even the staff could dry them properly and it ruined some new clothes I had just bought here.
The capsule hotel was such a fun experience, everything was nice and clean, it was super quiet at night. Loved the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom! They were also very accomodating when I arrived early. My only complaint has to do with the location—kind of a far walk to the trains and the neighborhood is more residential and not very exciting so you kind of feel far removed.
I really like my first few days of stay here at First Cabin. I thought that the snacks and Yalkult were a nice touch!
Unfortunately, on the last few days, I couldn’t sleep due to the constant noises of people around me packing/unpacking as late as 11 pm and early as 6:30 am. Therefore, I didn’t really get a goodnight’s rest. I would advice the hotel to just let the customers know that they shouldn’t be making noises in the cabin halls during late at night or early morning when people are sleeping.
This place was my favourite place I stayed in Japan. The facilities, house keeping, and cleanliness were amazing. I loved the spa area, it was so well kept, and there's also a public bath. I was told capsules can get too crammed after a few days but I was there a week and didn't want to leave haha. You would think because they're capsules, they would be neglected in terms of cleanliness, but this was the CLEANEST place I stayed at. Majority of staff were really nice and accommodating too! Oh, and the common room is perfect!
Location was great, not in the shopping district or near a train station, but there's bus stops right out front which can basically take you anywhere you want to go. The best part was it's also right next to a grocery store!
The only thing I can really say is that it would be great if there were dishes/utensils you could use to eat your food (because there's only a sink and microwave) but totally MINOR detail. To be honest, it proba
Need to keep the A/C on facility was to hot had to tell them to turn the A/C on every day and it was still to hot. Last night a group of roudy drunk people slamming doors and making alot of noise in the dorimtory.
