Fantastic breakfast options. Would stay here just for the breakfast! Variety of great quality Japanese and western foods. Had a problem with our room but the manager was very quick to find us another room. Modern and clean, would stay here again. Very convenient to Kyoto Station and Shinkansen platforms. Main improvement would be addition of an onsite restaurant available for dinner too.

Great hotel and across the street from Kyoto Station for easy access to subway and Shinkansen. Breakfast buffet was very good. Laundry was easy to do and helpful that we could monitor it from the app. We would stay at this hotel again.

Love the modern contemporary design of the hotel. Love the free skin care and facial care provided for free, and the hot and cold beverage are the best especially the matcha lattes. We'll definitely chose this hotel again on our next trip to Kyoto Japan

The hotel is really really close to Kyoto station. And around 5 mins walk to AEON MALL. it’s not loud at all even though it’s close to Kyoto station.

After making the mistake of trying to book in at The Granville (above Kyoto station) we finally found our hotel across the road. The Hotel Vischio was a great choice. Facilities were excellent, and it was so quiet, despite being adjacent to the train station. There were laundry facilities(stock up on ¥100 coins, before you go to the laundry room), and the machine lock with a code, so that you don’t have to rush back to get your things. The machines wash and dry and there are also irons and ironing boards available at no extra cost. This was fortunate for us, as we were half way through our 14 day trip. If you chose to use the Onsen facilities, beside the laundry room, you could unwind while your washing was being taken care of. Win-win! We also loved that we could collect ammenities from near the check-in desk, so we stocked up on toiletries and coffee, plus hair and toothbrushes. I’ve never seen this in a hotel, so it was a huge 10/10 for us. I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. I’d give it a 10/10.

This is one of our favourite hotels during our 22 days in Japan. Location is very convenient (close to train station). Love the guest lounge where you can get coffee and tea for free. We will stay at this hotel again.
