The Kyoto Brighton Hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and provide a luxurious feel, making them a highlight of the stay. Despite its corporate and somewhat business-like atmosphere, the hotel maintains high standards of service and amenities. Breakfast is satisfying with a decent selection, though nothing particularly standout, but it adds to the overall good value for money. The hotel’s location is convenient, being close to the Imperial Palace, providing easy access to key attractions in Kyoto while still offering a peaceful retreat from the busier parts of the city.

Fantastic hotel to stay
It was amazing hotel, very nearby to the subway station that links us to kyoto station. In addition the staff are super friendly snd helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. Most importantly very spacious. They also have shuttle service from the karasuma oike subway every 20 minutes. Definitely a must come back hotel.

Deluxe property with superb customer service and excellent dining options. When I asked for ice, they bring it in 1 minute. If I need to take a cab, they have it ready at the before I come down to the lobby. The free breakfast was exellent.

Not Centrally Located to Restaurants or shopping.
Hotel was decent and nice, but didn’t have an ATM or convenience/pharmacy. We spent a great sum traveling to and from Kyoto Station or other stations as it is very far from any restaurants or activities. Not centrally local to anything!! It was a big mistake with hotel choice. Misled by description on site. The staff was exceptionally professional and nice!!!!

The entire stay was amazing! We rented a car to see attractions and the fact that they had parking was perfect for our itinerary. Very polite and friendly staff made this hotel top of my list of places to stay! Would highly recommend eating the buffet breakfast as well.

We have had a fantastic stay at the Kyoto Brighton Hotel. Hotel staff and their quality of service are outstanding. Extremely clean, quiet, conveniently located property. Shuttle Bus to nearest metro station was also of a great convenience. Enjoyed very much and would certainly stay here again on the next visit to this great city. Thank you!

The staff were supper friendly and very respectable. The hotel in my mind is a very high end hotel and they appear to cater to mostly Japneese buisness people. Only complaint is the fact they dont have any smart TV's so when you wind down for the night there is Nothing to watch or Stream on the TV unless you understand Japanese. Smorgasbord breakfast was the same each day and as per previous reviews the French toast was great, the eggs are very sloppy but still good.
