This place is nothing like the former Hard Rock. The place was dead. Nothing going on a the pool for the 4 days I was there. Never saw a single person at the pool except for workers. The Casino was mostly empty and see why. I ran $1000 through there and the largest win I got was $11.00. I finally started to visit other casinos to start winning and having fun. A stranger in the elevator was making the same comments. The room was very nice and the bed was exceptional. The only problem was they charged me for 4 items in the minibar when we only took one. However the lady at checkout corrected that quickly without question. Also the restaurants were more expense than other places. Felt like the were charging California rates instead of Vegas. This could be a very nice place if they made it worth going to. The parties at the Hard Rock were epic. Now it is very low key with nothing going on.

Walkable to the strip during the day, not sure id fancy it after dark though. Nice clean hotel and all the staff were very pleasant. Had 2 pools, only one open during the week with the beach club and pool opening for the weekend when it gets busier. Uber is a good option for getting around and pick up just outside the hotel

First of all the vibe is like no other hotel I have ever stayed at, I absolutely loved the retro modern feel. I was excited about the open, airy feel the pics of the rooms and were even better in person. We stayed from Monday to Saturday so everything was a bit cheaper and likely why they were so accommodating to upgrade us to a suite when I asked. The casino area is quieter than one on the strip, but we enjoyed having a quieter spot to hang out after being around crowds the rest of the day. The pool was amazing and we wished we’d had one more pool day at the end of the trip. Again we were there during the week so it was only 100$ for a cabana which was so worth it. We ordered a wing platter for 55$ which was more than enough food for the 4 of us. Drinks were expensive but I’m sure comparable to properties on the strip. Most times of the day you could find 1-2 lounge chairs together, but ppl did tend to go early and put towels on them to reserve them which was annoying. The pool was well designed for lounging, so it wasn’t a big deal to not have a lounge chair when we were only there for an hour or two as we just switched between sitting with our feet in the pool or on one of the shallow decks. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants on property but wished we’d had time to try the Mexican place as the patio was beautiful. The free parking was easy to access, Uber to the strip or Freemont was 12-18$. We could have ubered multiple times as we saved so much by staying here.

I know resort fees are inevitable, but the “resort fee amenities” were a bit underwhelming. Also, a small coffee pot in the room for people up late doing work would be nice I would still visit the Dunkin’ (pro), booking XG was amazing! A bit Smokey but then again it is a casino. Nice staff:

Wow I never stay off the strip but Virgin will convince me for the future. Came here for a concert onsite and it was super convenient I didn’t really have to leave. The decor is great, the rooms were comfortable, the staff was super attentive, and last the price was unbeatable! Will be back!
