Nice hotel with lovely, helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Very close to lots of bars and restaurants. Some parts looking a little old and in need of renovation.

Very spacious and clean villa. Toilet and shower a little outdated eg shower curtain and toilet made weird sounds when you turned the tap on in the skin. Hard to find in a taxi as there only a sign that says royal hotel. Staff were fantastic when I needed a dr called out and couldn’t fault the cleanliness and the beautifully gardens.

Showers had very bad water pressure, globe had blown in bedside light, bar fridge hadn’t been re stocked, bathroom although clean was very dark especially over the shower/bath. Room very noisy at night as well. Tried phoning reception a few times and phone rang out - couldn’t contact anyone. Staff really lovely but old and not well maintained.

The hotel did not tell us in advance that they did not have the room category that we booked for till we arrived and was downgraded to a room which is small. We booked for a triple bed but the new room given to us was for an extra bed. Not a proper bed. The sheets was very sandy. The staff was super bad especially the manager who didn’t want to refund our 3 night stay and after we asked for full 3 nights of refund, she ask us to pack our stuff within 30 minutes to check out because they want to sell the room. We found out that other people also had the same experience to ask for a change of room as they weren’t given the room they booked for. This is disappointing and horrible service. Never even said sorry to us for all the experience we had to go through. We will not stay at this property again! The breakfast was horrible too (as a compensation of downgrading us)

The staff here were amazing! The property itself was nice and maintained. Location isn’t the best but still near shops and restaurants. Lots of shortcuts through back streets. The deluxe queen is a very basic room, but if that’s all you need then it will suite you fine. No fridge in room, and a strong smell of moth balls. Would probably stay again if I was back that way for a cheaper night accommodation.

Lacks basics for comfort.
The staff were pleasant and attentive when needed. Meals were good and always plenty of choices. Hotel is dated with cupboard doors not closing etc needs attention to detail. Hot water was a challenge, when requested. It would be available for the day then it would be off and another request made and so on. On checkin they had us in 2 single beds, although I had contacted them prior to ensure one bed was supplied. When they fixed it there were 2 singles pushed together and although packing was used the dip between them led to poor sleep on a couple of nights. Will NOT stay again, was not expecting resort quality but too many basics were wrong.

The upstairs rooms were lovely but our first night there was in a tiny downstairs room, tv wasn't working properly and no mini fridge. After requesting a change in the morning we were offered upgrade. Staff very helpful.

This is an older property, and it shows. But the 1 bedroom villa we had was great. Good value, huge open living with an air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom upstairs.. more pool lounges would be a good improvement.basic breakfast, very friendly staff... Great location

. I had a one bed. villa which was very clean and spacious. The staff were extremely good, both at front desk and room.Maintenance of grounds and rooms are high, and the only failing would be the water pressure, which is very low, and difficult to have a decent shower.Overall, value for money, i will stay again.

Beutiful boutique style Hotel
Right in the heart of Legian, on road front but so quiet in behind the walls. Short 5 min walk to the beach. We had big family room which was amazing. Very good buffet beakfast. Fantastic pool area, beautifully maiqured gardens and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Great service poor maintenance
I'll start by saying the staff (short of the manager who was rude and horrible) were wonderful. With every complaint they were lovely. The location was also great but thats where all the good things stop. Our room had multiple issue from the toilet which didn't flush when we first got there (it was 'fixed' every day until the last day of our holidays where they actually fixed the issue) to the leaking air-conditioning which they fixed by installing another one???? This did not fix the original aircon and it continued to leak onto the bed and they changed the mattress 3 times. Lastly we last power for half the day which no one knew about until I went and mentioned something.

Beautifully made up room just like in pictures. We had a balcony view over the pool. A little noisy with guests from the hotel next door coming past in the alley late at night. Bathrooms very clean and tidy. Two bottles of complimentary water every day and free wifi. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, but we ate at the hotel a few times. Only IDR 55,000 per person (AUD$5.50 approx.) And it was a lovely buffet including eggs anyway you like, bacon, sausage, tea, coffee, juice, fruit, pastries cereal and more. Staff were absolutely amazing. Very kind and sweet with our 3 year old, and very helpful whenever we needed anything. Short walk to the beach down an alley about 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again!
