Staff kind helpful friendly and welcoming. Great location. However Our room was small dark and the lighting was really bad. It was tidy though. Just needs new lighting for better ambiance and the shower flooded the whole bathroom the first time I used it. I’d choose another option next time in Lisbon.

This is a great location and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!
The hotel was in the heart of the restaurants and bars
At reception of this beautiful hotel there was a decanter of port and Portuguese tarts which was very nice indeed.
Would recommend this beautiful hotel and to have the breakfast just perfect
First and foremost the staff was so respectful and very very nice , great location close to all and very clean rooms ….I will go back to this great hotel ……
We landed in Lisbon after a red eye flight early in the morning and arrived at the hotel few hours before check in time. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered us an early check in, which was immensely appreciated. The hotel is greeting the guests with Pastel de Nata and a glass of wine, again very nice of their part. All the personnel at the hotel was very polite and friendly. As advertised the hotel is in the middle of all Lisbon action right in the heart of downtown. The hotel has a relationship with a company doing tours to Sintra and surroundings, we took this tour and that was another great experience. The tour guide (Stasia) a very well educated and well mannered person made this trip interesting, attractive and pleasant. The Lisbon accommodation was an awesome experience highly recommended, I would stay again there in a heartbeat.
Convenient location, but be aware you are on a busy street and it can get loud. Recommend using a noise app to drown out sounds at night. Room was small but clean.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
They have port & pastries on the front desk ...Make sure you ask for them !! They never offer them !!Yummy to take up to bed .
If getting a taxi from Oriente get them to drop you at Rossio metro ...easier to assess & a cheaper ride ..we paid 37 Euro ..
The hotel staff were very welcoming and accomdating to any requested we had. They also provided recommendations and any support we needed at any time. There was no hesistantion when asking for help.I recommend if anyone as a a tourist to stay here.
A charming little hotel in a bustling, interesting neighborhood close to many of Lisbon's best shops, restaurants and sights. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended.
This is a great location to explore Lisboa from. Would highly recommend it. Very friendly staff and an added touch of available Portuguese custard tarts and port at the front desk. Only negative was the size of the small rooms but not an issue since there was so much to do outside.
Excellent location on the main Rua Augusta which can also make it a little noisy although the soundproofing on the windows was fantastic! The reception and breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful (special mention to Ives for organising a surprise birthday cake for my husband’s birthday and to Elisete who’s smile lights up the room)
The room was small but we didn’t go to Lisbon to stay in the room! It was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a fantastic position for exploring Lisbon and they also organised our transfer back to the airport in the early hours for us which was much appreciated. Breakfast had a good choice of both hot and cold food and a good selection of pastries too. All in all, we had a fantastic stay at the Be Poet and would definitely recommend it to others.
Great room, staff, and location. Staff provided great recommendations and assistance.
Location close to many great areas. Easy access to cabs, ride shares, or public transportation.
Enjoyed great street performances nearby.
Highly recommend!
We loved the Port and Pasteis at the front desk and the kind attention of the front desk staff. I Ioved my room which faced the alley but was quiet and so comfortable! The shower was great and the little balcony was awesome!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Staff are really, really good. All are super helpful and friendly and very efficient. Housekeeping are great - every day the room was like we’d just checked in, reception are super friendly and so are breakfast staff. The whole place is very clean.
Rooms do need a bit of a refurb - they are a bit chipped and battered and the aircon wasn’t particularly great. Breakfast is perfectly adequate. Bed was comfortable, for me a bit soft but ok.
The hotel is on the main tourist street in Baixa, you need to go a few streets away to get a decent meal (though only maybe a 2-3min walk), it’s very easy to get to both Baixa-Chiado and Rossio metro.
I didn’t like the area immediately outside the hotel - I’ve never had so many people trying to sell me drugs anywhere in the world and it’s constant and it’s just in that street. Literally 4-5x every time I left the hotel. It’s not threatening, you just need a firm “no”, but it’s really annoying
