Whilst I understand different hotels have different levels of accommodation and services depending on price but staff be courteous should be a given but at this hotel it was just short of terrible. So obvious the staff didn’t want to be there and guests were an inconvenience.
Great location to leave Liverpool from back to the midlands the next day. Hard work getting back into Liverpool city centre because of copious amount t of traffic lights. Would stay there again that said!
Air conditioning wasn’t working for the first 3 nights and it was baking at night! The windows will not open either which exaggerates the situations and gives the room a stall smell! The air con issue was resolved by the last night however.
Had called the hotel last week to arrange an early check in for one of our 2 rooms as we were attending a wedding.
Was told it would be £20 additional charge.
Arrived at 12, gave our names and said we were checking in only to be told quite clearly that check in was 3pm.
I explained we had booked an early check in and was told no record of it instead of perhaps saying ‘let me look into that for you’.
Eventually got a room but was certainly left feeling that the customer service could be improved to ensure customers are left feeling welcomed rather than not.
Nice hotel , 2 mins from town centre, 10 min walk to rugby ground. Staff very helpful and checked to see if our room was ready so we could check in early. Room was decent, comfy bed, tea coffee in the room. Car park free just had to input car details on tablet. There is a £50 surcharge at checkin for any breakages but that was regunded about 3 hours after check out. I would stay again
Good location for the centre of the town and parking on site. Not a picturesque site but the hotel is of a good standard. The breakfast was not good the self service offering was not hot and had been in the warming containers for some time. Drop a star for a poor breakfast but I would stay again.
