Very pleasant, good location for quiet country stay. Staff very nice and helpful. Good to enable my Mum to ease into 81st birthday celebration in London the following day after losing my Dad. Very glad she was happy with hotel and facilities.

Two Night Business Trip
Two day business trip saw a two nights stay, good facilities, both hotel common area and in room wifi, bar & restaurant, tea & coffee making facilities. Large double appointed room, clean and excellent bathroom and shower, in room safe, fridge and large double opening windows onto the hotel gardens (no in room air con). Lovely setting with spa, pool and golf coarse on site, although a little out of the way for convenience shops. Very pleasant and comfortable would recommend.

Whilst the property and facilities were clean and lovely our stay was ruined by Music thumping through until 1am. Had we been told when checking in that there was a wedding reception we would have asked for a quieter room. Sadly when we raised this with reception in the morning they stated that it would have said on the website when booking, but as we booked through expedia we weren't given this information, so what was meant to be a relaxing weekend away ended up with little sleep because of the noise and I don't mean hearing it faintly, I mean really loudly and we were on the 3rd floor.

Dated but reasonable Hotel with a lovely Golf Cour
The Hotel was functional but it’s a bit dated. Lovely golf course attached to it. I had a problem with the water in the shower which didn’t have enough water pressure, I did advise the front desk. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed in a suite which was huge. Double roll top bath and double shower. Food in the bar, brasserie and room service was all the same price which was brilliant (£4.50 delivery fee for room service). Had the burger both nights and it was very good. Alcoholic drinks were pick at £8 for a large pinot and £6.50 a pint of moretti. Breakfast was fantastic. Full English including farmers sausage, back bacon, fries toast, hash browns, tomato halves, button mushrooms, fried eggs (or any other way if requested) plus cereals, toast, fresh fruits, croissants and pastries. Unfortunately the weather was far too hot to use the leisure area but it looked ok with a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.

Pleasant place, staff very friendly and helpful. Food wasn't brilliant, quite bland - especially for the high price. well stocked bar and pleasant setting with nice view over the fields. Would eat off site for evening meal if I stay here again, athough breakfast was fine. Small but adequate pool with sauna & jacuzzi free to use for hotel guests. Room was clean but very warm as it got the full sun and one of the windows didn't open. No air con. Good sized room and comfy bed. Easy to get parked and they have electric bays too. Quiet area.
