Let me start by saying this was my 5th time staying at this specific hotel. I've been coming here for over ten years. I've had 5 star experiences every other time. This time was so disappointing, I'll probably never come back. The woman who checked us in was lovely. We dropped our stuff off and took off for dinner, so we didn't notice our problems until about 10:00 that night. The bathroom wasn't clean: smears on the walls, the tub grout was orange/missing chunks, dust bunnies on the floor in the corner....then we found out the bed was broken. I set my sweater on the bed and it squeaked like a crappy motel bed overly exaggerated in a movie. A sweater did that... Then I looked around and noticed the cobwebs hanging from the wall (in EVERY corner) and I was done. I wanted a cleaner room with a bed that wasn't broken. I went down to the lobby and there was a "be right back" sign on the desk. I waited from 10:00 to 10:48 with a slowly filling lobby full of people until I gave up and went back to my squeaky bed that pissed me off all night with every move I made. (If someone from the hotel is reading this & sees I booked two queen beds, I stayed with my cousin and she had the other bed which was also squeaky but not nearly as bad).
We didn't have time the next day to ask for a new room/move because we were set to be gone all day. I told the staff at checkout my experience and she didn't even apologize!! Customer service really is trash these days, don't expect it to be better here
