Convenient Cheap Hotel
The hotel is perfectly situated for if you are staying over to catch an early morning flight as we did but if you’re looking for a nice up to date hotel, it’s not the one. It’s very dated and needs lots of improvement, everywhere has cracks and the lift looks like it’s falling apart and tried to be fixed with gorilla glue. The rooms smell nice but look like they’re still in the 70s/80s and the cart park is terrible and overcrowded. The best part I would say is the reception area as they have a dining space, bar and sports channels but that’s about it. The women on reception were helpful too

Room was fine. The service from the front desk staff was appalling. The attitude given to me and my friends after we came back as we left something in the room was out of order. House cleaning were so kind for returning my belongings but please re train your disrespectful front of house staff to give better service. Will never stay again.

The night we checked in was horrible, wet and windy and the room was very warm and clean. The shower was very powerful, which I liked. The hotel was fine and good value for the price. The food was very poor - I ordered a steak, medium rare and it was dry an tough not at all rare. The breakfast scrabbled egg was not real eggs- tasted awful, but the bacon was good.

Unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. The hotel is in serious need of modernisation—it felt like I had stepped back in time to the 1970s. From the outdated furniture to the worn carpets, everything about the décor screamed for an update. What really stood out, however, was the lack of cleanliness. The towels provided were clearly not fresh—one even had stains on it, which was incredibly off-putting. A basic standard of hygiene is the least you expect from a hotel, and this was a real letdown. While the staff were polite and tried to be helpful, the overall state of the hotel overshadowed their efforts. Until some serious renovations and improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.
