Ive been staying at this hotel for several years mainly chrisrmas time , always welcome and friendly. , and comfortable beds and ideal location for bath town shopping and to show . Highly recommended for a quiet break.

Fantastic stay! Hugely impressed with every aspect. A special mention to Oliver who checked us in and Jan at the health club. Both were excellent.

It was amazing. I had a wonderful stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Food was good. Overall a pleasant stay.

The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options catering to different tastes and dietary needs. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and delicious, making dining one of the highlights of my stay. The room service was equally impressive – prompt, courteous, and efficient. Whether it was a late-night snack or an early breakfast, the service staff always delivered with a smile, ensuring everything arrived fresh and exactly as ordered. The rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The attention to detail in maintaining the space added to the overall comfort.

The hotel is very quiet so not a problem checking in or using the excellent facilities. Nice quality bedding and decor.

We weren't expecting much from this hotel but were pleasantly surprised. The room was excellent value for money and was nicer than anticipated. Yes, this is an older hotel and it shows in places, but everything was clean and tidy. We booked a twin Premium room which had nice extras such as robes & slippers provided. The twin beds were almost touching which was fine for us as we're good friends but perhaps would be a bit weird if you were sharing with a colleague, for example. We had problems with the aircon not staying on for more than a couple of minutes. Not a big problem in December - we just opened a window - but I imagine would be very uncomfortable in the summer months. There were a few other niggles - there was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods supplied and we only received one pack of complimentary biscuits (so 3 custard creams to share between the two of us). The bathroom is quite small but fine for a single person at a time. The shower is a walk-in style enclosure with pleasant complimentary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). I found the shower pressure a little weak. The pool and gym are both quite small but adequate for a short stay. The pool was clean and warm - unfortunately the hot tub was out of order. All of the staff were very welcoming and we genuinely felt welcome here. I will look forward to staying again.
