The riad is lovely, as lots of other reviews say it is a welcome bit of peace in amongst the crazy and sometimes overwhelming streets of Marrakesh. Really clean, beautifully made beds, really enjoyed the breakfast especially the lovely fresh orange juice. It was nice to lie in the sun on the sun loungers on the roof looking over the roof tops of the city.
One thing - although we like to be independent on holidays, take the bus, find our own way etc it really is impossible to find. You can't just jump in a taxi as cars can't go down these streets and you could walk right past it and not notice. Every map we had bore little resemblance to the crazy streets and despite our best efforts we couldn't find the riad, had to ask someone, knew it would involve giving them some money but then had an awkward situation of them asking for more which we didn't have. My advice - however much you pride yourself on navigating your way in strange countries, you won't find this - get in touch with the hotel beforehand and let them know you will phone them when you get to a certain point (the Ben Youssef mosque is very close) and ask that they come and meet you. I'm fairly sure they'd do this.
