Great location. Friendly front desk staff. Not so great in terms of cleanliness. Drinking glass had a ring of someone else’s drink left on it, bottom sheet on bed came untucked as soon as I got into bed, revealing a stained mattress. Aircon in room was noisy and we didn’t sleep well. Dated TV. We forfeited our second night and left. I’d try a different accommodation option in the area next time.

Location was prime, just perfect. Prepaid exec. suite was good size for the two of us and all our luggage. Within walking distance to everything. Clean room and bathroom. Could have used more towels but made do. Bed was comfortable.

Great location but that’s it. The property is very tired and badly in need of a remodel. The carpeting is very worn in the general areas. It was filthy in our room. The bed was very comfortable but that was overshadowed by how everything was so run down. We signed up for the dinner/roof top New Year’s Eve party which was an absolute rip off. We paid $250/person for a dinner of cold sea food and a few warm items. The roof top was full of other people, some not even from the hotel. They just got on the elevator with the hotel guest and went up. I paid extra and could even get a spot on the roof which was most upsetting. As mentioned the location is the best and the Rocks area is the place to be. This is an old classic hotel and would have do much to offer it it weren’t so tiered. Honestly I would not recommend this property, there are better in the area to choose from.

Excellent location in the heart of the Rocks, walking to close to Circular Quay! Not luxurious fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Front desk service fantastic. Convenient to Cruise Port. Best espresso in Sydney!

was for NYE. Very expensive for NYE BUT the location is EPIC...the view from the roof was 10/10 and you need to save a spot at 9am because it will get crowded. The rocks is amazing location to everything so the location is 10/10. The hotel is old and dingy BUT it's clean enough and if you need a NYE spot this is a good place and perfect for teh family because you are close to so may things and yet can go back to the room for bathroom and cleanup and then go back out. Excellent location.

This property is far from a hotel backpacker hostel more like. Room 825 had a loud running water noise all night they had to give me ear plugs. The bathroom was disgusting so old. Enamel had come off the bath. Ensuite so so small. Bed uncomfy nothing nice about this place do not waste your money

Great location and hotel. Pool on the roof is great and you can easily walk to a lot of the to attractions. If you taking a cruse you could not ask for a better location. Room clean neat and tidy. I would definitely stay here again.
