wonderful 7 days with Adam the owner his father Mustafa and family Beautiful simple breakfast Adam was a teriffic host with anything you asked for and gave a little hand written map for you to meander the streets to the Riad
Thanks Adam Mustafa and family
Fantastic place. Beautiful rooms and communal area. The owner and host,Adam, was really friendly and helpful and spoke good English (as well as Arabic and French!) The 3 course dinner we had was fresh and delicious as were the breakfasts. The place wasn't easy to find, but Adam will arrange a taxi from the airport and the driver will walk you to the door of the Riad-unless you already know Marrakech like the back of your hand, this is an essential service. It's possible to get lost on your way back to the Riad on your first day, especially if you're tired so pay really good attention on your first trip out of the Riad and into the local neighbourhood. I took photos of each turning on the way out so that I could find my way back.
Nice please to stay ! The owner Mustafa and Adam are amazing guys, they really look after thier guests. The place is really clean and relaxing. We will definitely go back to Raid Slwai and recommend to everyone :). Peace of mind. Thanks a lot for your hospitality Mustafa God bless you :).

Wonderful riad in a very fun part of the old city.
The only bad thing about Riad Slawi was that it spoiled us for every other place. We’re on a long trip and now nothing can measure up to our time at this place. It’s clean, beautiful, and friendly. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our room was a suite, which we loved. Piping hot, lovely shower. Chilly nights were held at bay with excellent heaters.
Everything you read about Adam in the reviews is correct - you could not want for a better host. The Riad is small, charming and comfortable and Adam is so helpful he makes the holiday experience so much more pleasant. The Riad Is not very easy to get to which was unfortunate on a short stay, but probably also part of its charm.
I would like to start off by offering our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the Riad owner Adam for making our stay extra special. Thanks for treating us to a nice cup of mint tea on our arrival and for making us feel at home straightaway - you really do know how to make a good first impression! And thanks for offering us some really useful information and tips about getting around Marrakech which proved absolutely invaluable. Your and your team's attentiveness and thoughtfulness throughout our stay was beyond exceptional and highly commended.
So what about the Riad itself? Well the whole place was simply immaculate: room was spotless, traditional Moroccan decorations, good shower, comfy bed, cosy surroundings, excellent location in the heart of the medina, exceptionally clean throughout...the list goes on...The thing we particularly liked about here is you really do get to stay in the most traditional Moroccan way. If I really have to pick out a negative then maybe the breakfast lacked a little bit of variety but we were offered something different every day and it was sufficient. All in all, for the price it was quite simply one of the best places we've stayed in in a very long time and Adam and the team truly deserves all the credit and praises they get - well done and keep up the exceptionally good work!
So if you wish to experience the very best of genuine traditional Moroccan hospitality then look no further than Riad Slawi, you will not be disappointed. 6/5!
The owner of the riad was a fantastic host. He welcomed us with tea when we arrived, provided us with maps and information on how to get around and what to see, and warned us about tourist traps. The riad itself was incredibly cozy -- the room and common areas were clean and comfortable, perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The included Moroccan style continental breakfasts were also delicious.
I was extremely pleased with my stay. The owner is extremely helpful when I arrived and provided maps and excellent advise on what sights to see. The food was very nice and I would highly recommend an evening meal which was amazing.
This Riad is really nice and quiet, as all riad in the old town is rather difficult
to find the frist time. but Adam (the owner) proposed to collect us near the limit of the old town. Using a car in the old town is either difficult or impossible think about park it and walk
Everything was great about this stay. The room was very nice and authentic, the surroundings are quite away from the very busy areas of Marrakesh and Adam always wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed and helped a lot with check ins, airport transfers and accommodated breakfast very early in the morning as we had some trips booked. I would definitely recommend it.
Adam is an amazing host. very very friendly and helpful, by far the best we experienced in Morocco.
Sadly it was the end of our trip and we didnt get to spend much time at the Riad Slawi.
Excellent stay at Riad Slawi - Having a fluent English speaking contact there was very useful (giving us invaluable information to help navigate the madness of the Medina). Room was great, as was the shared courtyard space, the breakfasts and the general atmosphere.
Only one negative thing to say, we had trouble with the shuttle from the airport to the riad on arrival (which we are given to believe is due to the recent changes to the airport). This was quickly resolved after a phonecall, but would recommend making sure you have a backup plan in place.
We were given a generous free upgrade which was the cherry on the cake. Thanks to all at Riad Slawi for a great stay!
Beautiful riad. Very pretty spacious rooms. Would be difficult to find however even at midnight he owner came and showed us the way from the main street.
Nice traditional breakfast, pancakes and bread. Owner very keen to please.
Our family of four had a wonderful two-night stay at Riad Slawi. This is a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated which set the scene for a visit to Morocco. The freshly breakfast is plentiful and prepares you for the walking in the medina. We appreciate all the help from the hotel manager which made our stay very memorable. I highly recommend this riad.
The Riad is family run and they could not be more helpful , dinner was exceptional and breakfast was delicious and different each morning , a bright quiet space near to the Souks
We found the stay wonderful adam the owner was very friendly helpful and the riad was clean and comfortable and tradional . Adam also gave us a map and pointed out all sights seeing points .
Adam the riad host provides an amazing amount of assistance to travelers. He organised our 3 day desert trip with a great guide, organized a cost to the local hammam including buying the special glove for me, bought our train tickets for the next stage of our journey. He goes way beyond the call of duty. This riad is home away from home.
This riad was beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail, our room was spotless and very comfortable and the rooftop terrace was a real bonus. However, what really made our experience was the owner, Adam. He gave us a very warm welcome and went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, providing us with map and guidance re getting around, sorting our tours and airport transfers and generally always being approachable, friendly and happy to help. Also the women who cleaned our rooms and made breakfast were also fantastic (one leant us an umbrella when she saw it was raining and food and room cleanliness were great). The only reason I haven't given a 100% rating for the room was because it opened up onto the main dining area which made it feel slightly less private than the other rooms upstairs. Only a minor detail though and did not have a negative impact on our stay. Plus I think it might just be a feature of riads generally. Highly recommended!
