The elevator was out the whole 4 days that we were there and we had to walk up 3 flight of stairs. It was hard to do especially since I had back surgery. They didn’t even have wash rags to take a shower.

For the area, I believe the hotel holds its own. definitely not what the picture showed. No lock on bathroom door and the walls are obviously tiled over some serious mold issues because of the smell in the morning. But what they lose in hotel condition , they make up in staff. Upon arrival, I was informed my service fee was different from the current. Although my charges ended up being okay, staff was swiping my card without explaining. I elected pay at property but was charged 2 weeks before my check in. Elevator didn’t work. Bathroom sink had a slow drain. Door was super hard to close. Tv volume wasn’t correct AND there was a mysterious circle in the middle of the tv. Looked like an eye looking at us. It looked like a camera VERY uncomfortable feeling for two women in a room!

The elevator did not work which we did not find out until we arrived. We had to walk up 5 flights of stairs with heavy luggage for a 6 day cruise. We also had to pay an additional $100 deposit which is supposed to be refunded it’s been over a week and I still have not received it. When I contacted them to ask why they gave me an email address and still have not heard anything back.

This property is a scam, and they are all liars. The room was filthy and smelled horrible, and the elevator did not work! It was the worst experience ever. I couldn't even stay and had to spend extra money on a better hotel. I would never go back!!!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM they wouldn't even let me check out I checked in at 12:15 and was out of there by 1 am.

Hotel is close to the beach . You’re right on the strip close to every thing . It’s quite at night . The staff is very friendly. Free breakfast right down the street with vouchers you have to get from front desk before going . They have free bikes and beach chairs and towels . Room was clean, beds were comfortable. They do not have any bugs of any type . Staff very helpful. The elevator did not work but we didn’t have to walk up that many steps to our room. I have been traveling to this hotel for the last 4 years and the elevator has not been operating on any trip . So if u are disabled or can’t walk up flights of steps I would make other accommodations . Other than that they also have a restaurant on site . They hold your luggage until you can check in . They also hold your luggage after you check out until you fly out. I love this hotel and the suites . Will definitely continue to come to the beacon .

The most convenient place ever on South Beach! Just steps away from the beach. I loved the lemongress or smell good that airs the hotel, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash is amazing! Also, the free towels and beach chairs were a great perk! I'll be back!

I was hurt at this property. I’m handicapped and their elevator was broken, but they refused to refund my money told me to come to the front desk the next morning to speak to the manager to make sure I wasn’t charged for the next night which they did charge me for both nights with no break even though they don’t provide a safe passage for disabled people to get to their room or a warning that they need to find other accommodations either. Then of course, there was no manager there the next day they gave me a cell phone number with an unpersonalized voicemail that I left a message on, which, of course was not returned. And no I wasn’t a Karen before I fell flat on my face after hobbling up the flight of stairs.
