I am not sure why the hotel has an 8 star rating. The whole building needs to be renovated. The bed base was unstable and making noises when I move. The hot water took about 10 mins to come out. The toilet paper holder came loose and dropped on the floor. The bed was not changed and had a lot of long hair all over. I took a video and showed it to the front agent. He offered me to change rooms or new sheets for me to change them myself since he was the only one on duty. Needless to say I won’t be staying at this property again nor will recommend to anyone. I wasted $1,000 for two days when could have stayed at the Four Seasons.

The rooms are not as pictured. Elevator and tv did not work at check in with information that repair service had been requested. By the time we left days later, both still not repaired. Despite these inconveniences, the room was clean and quiet, location was great, staff members were extremely friendly and attentive. There were complimentary bikes, beach chairs and towels during our stay, which were also great.

Room was not as shown in photos .. Floor was not clean and had a lot of grout showing. Phone in room was broken and didn’t work. Staff not very friendly and was charged for room before I arrived and was supposed to pay at the property. Booking even said pay at property and they tried to cancel my reservation and said the listing as such was a mistake.

Did not expect to stay at a hotel where during check in they tell us elevator is broken. Then we get to our room and no cable to watch TV and phone did not work . Had to walk back downstairs to ask about the TV. They told us the cable people were due to come out . Was disappointed with the stay.

Wrong choice
Wrong place to stay. We were on 3rd floor. Elevator not working. Has not been working for days or weeks. No technicians even looking at fixing it. No internet on site for tv. ALL tvs had no connection. I tried to use room phone to call front desk. NOPE. Used cell phone. Front desk associate eventually came to check it out. Looked at connections like i couldnt do that and said Sorry not working. Then followed up with I am only employee working. No one else here to look at it. This was after we came to the hotel and my reservation wasn't in the system and the front desk associate was on the phone with someone walking and threw it. He then assigned me a room give me my room key and then my business partner had a second room and he was checking in and then he says to me sorry I have to take back your room because I think someone is still staying in that room and had to reassign me a new room. Later on after a nice walk on Ocean Ave we decided to go to bed and I go to turn the TV off using the remote control but no matter what I did it wouldn't turn off. I'm afraid to call the front desks since there's only one person it took me awhile to disconnect the cable behind the TV. On the positive side the bed was comfortable however the shower whoever installed the shampoo should look at the location as it made it very difficult to shower in terms of room. Sorry there were many hotels in the same price range and there are many hotels that were available so we made the wrong choice

Unfortunately, the elevator was not working & I discovered it had not been working for about 2 months. This made getting heavy luggage to the room difficult, particularly for those with health issues. There was no bellhop available before 9 am or after 9 pm.

First off didn’t say you had to pay $45 for parking. Then that the elevators was down and had us on the 4th floor. Also the entire hotel phones or tv didn’t work. You could have told someone before. They don’t answer the front desk phone at all at night. Call because who wants to keeping walking up n down the stairs which we had to because no one answered but no at the front desk. The rooms are very small. Only great thing is the beach across the street and close by restaurants and stores. Also takes forever for valet to bring you your car.

No VIP acknowledgement. Hallway carpet dirty, non functioning elevator for a fifth floor room. Room not as advertised. No free drink per stay as advertised. Apparently no longer given. Room cleaned only after 3:00 pm every day. Room was not replenished with clean coffee cups or glasses daily. No coffee replenished for coffee machine. Overall poor hotel maintenance. Bell boy/ luggage guy was the most helpful.
