The company that I work for keeps sending me to this hotel, first couple times I use it it was horrible because the room had big giant roaches and little ones too!! I went to the front desk and they asked me if the roaches were the big ones or the small ones hahahahaa I can’t believe she asked me that. This time, NO WIFI, my room didn’t have shampoo or body wash, I requested and they never bring it at all, no explanations. This place is super dated. The only good thing is location.

The apartments were huge and the location is just perfect. In a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach. They offer beach towels at the front desk and I wish they had beach chairs and an umbrella, that would be just perfect. There are two Citi Bike spots nearby which is one of the best ways to explore SoBe

Location of the hotel was great. That was the only positive thing i can say. House keeping came once for the 6days i stayed. We had no hot water for 5 days. The shower tap was broken and water kept dripping in the tub. The last 2 days of our stay they we're doing renovations in the room above us. It was loud. I won't stay here again

My stay at Tradewinds Apartment Hotel started on the wrong foot and stayed on the wrong track throughout. Despite arriving about two hours after check-in, they didn't have our room ready. We had to wait for 30 minutes so they could give us the keys and, when we went to the apartment, the cleaning crew was still there finishing the room. The room was fairly big and matched the description of the ad. However, the internet signal was practically nonexistent and we had to rely on our mobile to use the internet. At the check-in, we were told they would clean the room every three days. So, on the third day, after confirming with the front desk that our room would cleaned, we left our towels on the floor and went away for the whole day. We arrived around 2 am and, to our surprise, the room was exactly how we left it. We went to the front desk and they told us our room was not scheduled for cleaning that day, although it was the third day of our stay. After complaining and arguing, they gave us a new set of towels (since ours were dirty and on the floor) and scheduled the cleaning for the next day. On the next day, we called twice to the front desk asking about the cleaning, and the crew only arrived at the end of their shift, around 6pm. The only two stars the hotel deserves are due to the AC and their location. The entire management crew was rude and didn't seem to care about their guests.

The Tradewinds was a great find. There were minor inconveniences such as finding parking, trouble getting to front desk via phone prior to check-in, and things in the apartment like faulty shower. Other than the minor things, it was excellent. Would go again and would recommend.
