The staff were excellent—friendly and extremely helpful. The lounge adjacent to the lobby was very comfortable, great for breakfast and lunch. The location is perfect for access to the duomo, shopping, Sforza Castle, transportation, Brera neighborhood, etc.

Great Milan Discovery

The Palazzo Segreti is a small hotel just off the Via Dante in central Milan. The hotel is within walking distance of most attractions in the city. It's almost midway between two Metro stations. Despite its central location the hotel was quiet although I think it could be different on a weekend night. There is a nice breakfast available and a welcoming drink and nibbles available on the first evening. Woul definitely stay here again.

We booked this last minute and didn’t really do much research. We were there one night. The room was clean, but minimalist. The TV appeared to have apps, but we were never able to figure out how to use them with an iPhone. Looked like it was only android compatible. We didn’t appear to have real access to setting the room temperature. There was a strange control panel that didn’t seem to control anything. There is no elevator, but a tiny “lift”. It worked fine. The bathroom and shower are on opposite sides of the room… very strange. It wasn’t a bad stay, but we would not stay there again.
