In the process of being renovated which it certainly needs. Location to Mayo facilities is the key benefit to staying at Kahler Inn and Suites. Price is competitive and reasonable. The addition to free breakfast is a recent plus. Hotel staff could be a little more professional when greeting and dealing with customers.

We stayed here because it was across the street from the Clinic. When I went in to check in, there was a cop sitting at a table and two homeless people in the lobby. The parking cost and was not secured. One bed mattress was lumpy, and the other sagged in the middle. The sink and tub area had cracked tiles, bad caulking jobs. The shower head was at about 5’ high and the tub drain did not drain. The bathroom fan was so loud we could not hold a conversation. The clock was set wrong and couldn’t be reset and included an IPOD charger. The walls were taped and mudded and not smoothed under wallpaper that was stained. For the price we paid

Probably the Best Place If Going to Mayo Clinic
This hotel is very clean and the staff is efficient. The ability to cross over to the Mayo Clinic via a tunnel was greatly appreciated during cold rainy weather. The restaurant was very good as well. It was great not having to go out in the rain.

Across the street from Mayo Clinic/Hospital. Has lower level direct walkways from hotel to Mayo, so don’t even need to go outside. Nice room and comfortable beds, full free breakfast
