Staying at Al Fanar is one of the best experiences in life. I went there with my wife, & we enjoyed each second of our trip. 1st; the hospitality is beyond expectations. The staff is very kind. I would like to personally Thank Mr. Hussein Al Ma'ashani for his extreme kindness and hospitality. They even offered complimentary coffee & fruit platter. The hotel is safe and quiet, the rooms are very clean, & the parameters are very nice to walk&talk, & enjoy the ocean from the different seating areas and cafes there. I wanted to have a dinner on the beach, so the hotel made it possible in just 2 hours,& made it a very unique & memorable experience thanks to Mr. Umlesh who stayed after working hours to make are that we are happy with arrangements. The dining options are vast,& the breakfast open buffet is great with lots of varieties (One can have the breakfast at Al Fanar,or at Rotana Hotel (5 minutes way from Al Fanar) One very enjoyable service you get to experience when booking with Al Fanar is a limitless free entrance to the adjacent AquaPark,which is a very nice experience with must-try slides, & the memories there are non forgettable. Another great experience we had with Al Fanar is the bike rental to ride around the ocean and areas of Hawana Salalah. Very great experience. What needs improvement in Al Fanar is the quality of bed mattress and pillows, plus the quality of Shampoo & Shower Gel they offer.The ones they have are below expectations.

Great hotel. Loved staying there. Will be back again

It was one of the best stays I have over the world; thus every thing can be improved like the way to Alila; the first day we arrived very late at night it was a bit scary going through an old neighborhood with no lights. Constructing even a dusty road from the rooms to the sea would help a lot, especially for disabled or old people or children. Having garbage bins around would help the environment, guests and staff. Having disposable things in the Spa area and opening the Jacuzzi with the other free stuff like any other Spas in the world Last but not least dinner does not match the high quality of the breakfast. A homey stay

The entire hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. If you are looking for quiet place near the beach then this is the place to choose! Hope to stay there again soon!
