The air conditioning did not work properly. We were sweating all night. The bed was so soft that it made us very stiff and sore. The streets in old Montreal smelled of sewer gases. Not pleasant at all.

The staff were gracious and helpful and friendly. Sadly, that did not make up for the complete lack of sleep due to the non-stop noise (think yelling, screaming, dogs barking) coming from the street. And traffic was so congested, it made going and coming a nightmare. Not a wink of sleep in two nights. Utterly miserable. Also, the room and bathroom could have been cleaner (dead flies in the bedroom area that just stayed on the floor the whole stay).

Stayed in a river front king room for the weekend. Room was clean and comfortable. a big perk was opening the big windows and being able to take in all the action down below. while seeing a great view of the river, ferris wheel, and bridge. Hotel staff was very nice, and extremely accommodating. Hotel is in a great location. There's 3 restaurants that looked very nice. we only went to the roof top for drinks. and then reserved a table to watch the fireworks another night.
