If you are looking for just a place to sleep at the end of a day Chrome it's your place. It is cheaper the other hotels in the area. Walkable to Place des Arts, Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, Vieux Port, and Berri-UQAM Metro Station. I'd stay here again.

Parking was full and the alternative parking garage was fairly far away and looked unsafe. Kinda dirty around the hotel and the room was ok but dated and had older feel to it. Some lights didn’t work, it’s an older dated hotel.I left to another hotel however I still paid for this one due to how I booked it.

The location was perfect amd the price was right! If you want a fancy hotel with amenities, than stay elsewhere and pay more. If you want a very, very, clean place to rest/sleep, and be within walking distance to EVERYTHING at a budget price, than stay at Hotel Chrome. I was there fir 2 days and saw them mopping multiple times. The area is under construction so there was a lot of closed sidewalks but that's of no fault of Hotel Chrome. Old Montreal/Old Port and the University are right there so there is so much to see and do. Not "would" but WILL definitely stay there again!

The building was outdated but offered good value given the large space of the room and proximity (15 minute walk) to restaurants and attractions in downtown.

This property is really great to sleep at, its close to everything including transport. Walking to Old Port is fine at night but walking the other way where the parking garage is, kinda scary if you aren't used to that environment. I feel safer walking around Boston Common at 2 am compared to that area.

Generally, this is a fine place to stay. Its medium around. Fine location, but the upkeep is wearing and you can tell. Beds bowed in the middle but were mostly comfortable. The sheets on the bed were clean but didn’t actually cover the whole mattress, with several inches of the mattress just….uncovered. No ambiance, but if you just need a place to crash, it’s a good price and is perfectly safe.

Loud construction began at 5:30 am
Room had nice new floors and a renovated bathroom. Still shabby in various ways. Main problem is that major construction at property next door began at 5:30 am and it was difficult to sleep much after that.
