Over all dirty and dingy with stains on the walls, lamps, mattress, mould in the grout in the shower, gross particles washing up in the sink, only hot water running in the sink. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again. Staff were friendly and it is in good walking distance to Old Montreal and a few train stations.

Hotel was alright, although a bit outdated. Visible wear and tear and lacking maintenance and upkeep. It's restaurant was closed and it felt like minimum staff running this place. Walls are thin and can anyone in the corridor. The only plus about this was its prime location. Bus stop with airport bus 747 right in front of hotel. Walking distance to metro, vieux port and chinatown, art district, mall etc. Bathroom taps were weird with hot/cold controls. Was getting boiling hot water coming through from either taps. Shower door did not prevent water splash.. water would drizzle down door and leak out onto the rug towel. Construction and crews right outside window with noise starting 7AM. Towels were thin.

First we had to pay for parking for each night. Then there was a room deposit which is an additional hidden cost to the room that i prepaid. The room was not exactly clean. The cleaning crew didn't sweep up dirt around the corners of the bed and the dresser. Lastly, initially my partner was going to put up the deposit but i did. At checkout they released my deposit but charged my partner for the parking because they saved his card but not mine. The best part of this hotel was the front desk staff and convenience to Old Montreal in walking distance.

Mold!!! Dirt!!! Horrible room/experience. This is a run down property in a neighborhood full of drunks, homeless,….everywhere:( Felt totally unsafe. Can’t believe they are open?! And can’t believe Expedia has this offer as a 3 star hotel?!

This was a nice hotel, not high quality but it was in a convenient area. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The area isn’t great but overall it was a good place to stay.

Nothing. The service was substandard. The wifi was horrible. I had a seven night stay and received room service only once. I spoke to front desk about. The freezer of mini fridge was all frozen up and made it difficult to close the door. There were no shelves in the fridge. For the amount paid per night, the stay was definitely NOT worth it. Hotel Chrome would NOT be on my list of hotels to stay again.

Surprisingly close to downtown, Old Montreal & the Waterfront Port! Walkable to everywhere we wanted, including McGill U! And bus direct to the airport stopped right out front !
