We had a comfortable room with a lovely view of the ocean (level 29). The hotel is right in the centre of Surfers Paradise so everything is literally on your door stop. With that convenience comes the noise and hussle of being in right in it. Thankfully sound proofing doors means as soon as you close your verandah all of that is locked outside. The buffet breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Parking was a nightmare. The car park is a public car park shared with the Paradise Centre and there is no designated hotel spots. Unfortunately we drove around for a very long time before we finally found a spot and then had a long walk to the hotel elevator. Modern day inconveniences. We had a pleasant single night stay and would have enjoyed a longer stay if we had the time.

The property was dirty. It had a pube on the back of the bathroom door, the receptionist even said it was disgusting. I left my room after 1 night and went to another hotel. The Wifi is 3rd world standard, the old 3G network was faster. I had to hotspot off my own phone to do my work. I complained to reception, and told her I was leaving, she advised that a manager would contact me, no one did. Seriously embarrassing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Budget option to save with the go green room cleaning - love the idea! Bathroom little scummy but rest of the room was spotless, beds comfy. Kids loved the casting option to watch movies. Maybe more family table n chairs for outside hotel meals, otherwise had everything we needed.

It would be handy to have a toaster and microwave in each room. Especially for children who want different snacks , toast etc. it’s not always convenient to go down stairs to shops and it becomes very expensive to buy every meal etc.

Conveniently located, although would prefer for parking to be included. Also, the small table in the room was visibly dirty and sticky when we arrived. Finally, the bed was a combination of 2 smaller beds put together, which we have seen in other hotels, but was extremely uncomfortable with a prominent gap not properly covered in this one.

Bathroom was weird
The views were great. Room was relatively clean albeit a little rundown. We had a room on level 27 for a couple days and unfortunately could not work out how to take a shower without flooding the bathroom, every time :(

I loved that it was centrally located and had easy access to public transport etc. The hotel was clean and tidy, but my room although clean looked dated and had peeling paint on the bathroom door and some of the furniture had seen better days, maybe time for a refresh of the rooms

We mainly loved our room .. great view, balcony, clean, spacious and comfy bed. Only a couple of faults was the extremely low lighting in the bathroom , it was soo dim, also there was no hooks to hang bathrobe, clothes , towels while showering …. There was a complimentary mini bar but we weren’t informed. It was quiet and the breakfast was lovely , but that all changed on the weekend when it quite hectic. However we loved our stay and would stay again in the future. Thank you to all the helpful staff.
