Staff was so friendly and so helpful and so genuine. The hotel is older, that's what I wanted. The courtyards offer a nice place to rest. I recommend to anyone who likes historical places. They are clean btw and the safe in my room was never tampered. Nothing went missing and the staff really went out of the way to make us feel comfortable.

Consistently excellent through the years
This is this seasoned travelers 4 time stating on the property. Walk out into Jackson Square. Everything within a 5-16 minute walk. If you can get a room, it is going back in time. Personnel are great and treats everyone with a personal touch.

Perfect Stopover!
Wonderful stopover after our Thanksgiving cruise! Although checkin wasn’t until 4:00, the staff let us park at 10:30am and locked up our luggage until the rooms were ready. We were actually able to get into our rooms at 1:00 pm! Our rooms were comfortable, updated, and nicely appointed. The entire staff was pleasant and courteous, it was a great experience.

Elegant room design! Clean! All the comforts of home. Reception and parking staff were super friendly :0)). Perfect location… far enough from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street and just a minutes walk to all of the French Quarter attractions. Lots of restaurants to choose from and they are reasonably priced as well. This will definitely be our new “go to” hotel in NOLA!

This is the only place we stay when in New Orleans. The perfect location, the friendliest and most helpful staff, beautiful property, all the charm you could want, and we’ve always felt safe. We love the central location for taking a break as needed to cool off when the heat gets intense. The AC in our room was fantastic. We had an interior, windowless room for the first time on our most recent stay and we ended up liking it more than expected. It was quiet and great for getting a good night's rest.

The room was beautiful. We chose the mini-suite so it had a lot of room with a separate seating area. This hotel is located one block from the Jackson square, so everything is within walking distance. They have parking offsite, which is secure. The hotel concierge booked a walking tour for us and saved us $20 by doing so. We had a wonderful stay here.

I didn't like the fact that I got charged about $30 more than online booking through Orbitz to add another night's stay. Should have been cheaper not more as it likely wouldn't have been filled at all. Also parking cost was high $43/day and was not mentioned when booked through Orbitz
