Booked for double king room and was told the room did not exist. The photo when booking showed a room with two beds, however we were only given a room with one bed for all. Did not get refunded for the price difference between a one bed and a double.

I loved the distance from New York's touristy attractions. We saw two shows which were within walking distance. Times Square is just a few blocks. The only drawback was the size of the room. It was tinier than what I thought but was clean and fine for our few days there. I would still recommend this hotel for your stay.

The room was very small considering the price I had to pay stay at this hotel....however, it was comfortable and our room was cleaned everyday. The view was great, and the room was nice, even though it was small. The staff was friendly, pleasant and helpful and so I'd stay there again.

Very small lobby, the room was so noisy , people are screaming and slapping the doors . Our room with one king bed was extremely small . The stuff though are do professionals and so nice ones . The location is great close to the bus terminal.

I am not happy with my stay at Double Tree by Hilton, New York. I had paid for breakfast to be included with my booking through Expedia but when I checked in, the staff member at the desk told me that I couldn't have the breakfast I had paid for because I had booked through a third party (Expedia) and that I could pay for the breakfast or I should take up the matter with Expedia. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or enquire with a manager about the issue even though I had stated that I had prepaid for breakfast when booking. I contacted Expedia via their live chat and the customer service agent at Expedia was very helpful. They phoned the hotel to confirm that I had already paid for the breakfast and it should be included. The hotel had the Expedia service agent on hold for over 25mins before they could speak to someone. The service agent confirmed that the hotel agreed they had made a mistake and the breakfast was included. There was no apology from the member of staff at check in or any other member of staff at the hotel for the extra stress this issue had caused. After breakfast the next morning a member of the restaurant staff presented me with a bill. I told them I had prepaid for breakfast and that I had been given a breakfast voucher which I had given to their colleague. I do not understand why this hotel kept on insisting I pay for a breakfast that I had already paid for. I am not happy with my experience at this hotel and would not recommend.

The room is a little small, but enough for a couple. All the staff were very helpful and polite. The area has some options for shopping and for visiting tourist areas, not quite though (it’s Times Square). There is a metro station nearby. I would stay again!
