Nice Hotel, quite-ish area. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. In room coffee maker had problems, it leaked alot. There was complementary coffee but just one 12 cup pot, so with just a few folks ot was empty, then a guest had to find someone to refill it, small problem.

Rooms are great but i got a 2nd fl room and it was super noisy. Listen to people talking outside thr hotel, plus the usual Manhattan traffic made sleeping poor. Make sure u get a room higher up

We came to the property a few hours before check-in time and we were prepared to wait. The gentleman at the front desk told us that if we didn't mind the second floor, a room was ready there and we could check-in immediately. I did mind the second floor. Having lived in NYC for many years I knew that second floor in Midtown would be terribly noisy. But we were assured by the gentleman that it was not noisy so we accepted. It was a big mistake. Not only was there street noise, there was also music coming from the hotel's bar long after midnight. It was impossible to sleep and we were exhausted. That room (and possibly other rooms on the second floor) should never be offered to anyone. On the plus side, the rooms and the bathroom are a decent size for NY. No coffee in the room but there is free coffee in the morning at the hotel's restaurant. Midtown is not my favorite area but for those who want to be close to dining, museums and public transportation the location is very good. We did get housekeeping without having to ask but I don't think the carpet has been cleaned in a while.

The Renwick is unique in all the great ways. Location and neighborhood is great and walkable to so many things. Great little speak easy bar as well. The artistry throughout the building makes it special and unique which we loved.

This was one of my favorite stays in NYC and I travel there multiple times a year. The staff is so kind and attentive and the rooms are very quiet and clean. The gym was very well maintained and the complimentary coffee was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

Property is nice on the outside and the bed is comfortable, but the room is tiny. The bathroom sink is no bigger than a dinner plate. Most of the time the water was splashing directly to the floor. The bathroom does not make the room comfortable unfortunately. Not a place I would stay at again.
