This property was listed as a 4-star hotel, which it clearly is not (except for the price). We were met with indifferent staff (save one housekeeper), dark sparse rooms, a tiny closet, no dresser for clothes (we paid extra for a “luxury” king), and just a ‘grab and go’ eating facility. And don’t get me started on the old, slow, poorly maintained elevators. Oh, and you’ll only get hot water on some days of your stay. Disappointed to say the least.

I had a frustrating experience during my stay at Tillary Hotel. Upon arrival, I found that my room lacked towels. When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told I needed to come down to retrieve them myself. This was not the level of service I expected. Additionally, the staff were not polite, which made the situation even more disappointing. It’s clear that they need to improve their customer service training. Overall, I was quite dissatisfied with my stay.

My stay at The Tillery was exceptional. . From the Manager, maintenance, house keeping and the front desk staff members my children and I encountered was friendly, helpful and most of all flexible. My six year son loved it so much he said to the manager its 10srars. Perfect location! Economical!

Was close enough to the things I had to do in Brooklyn. Good amenities around. No Issues with Check in and Check out. Staff pleasant. Unfortunately did not try the rooftop bar. Next Time!

Love the lobby in this hotel.The room has a good enough space and we also had a view of downtown which was good.But the room needs a bit updating first the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom is chipped in a few places.The bed frame is chipped in many different areas.Also their was only two wash clothes and two small towels.There was no big towels in the room which makes no sense because how are you supposed to shower?There was no hand soap in the bathroom.Also my room didn’t have a microwave so the food that I wanted to eat I couldn’t because there was no place to warm it.Overall the staff was great hotel looks nice just needs to be updated more.

My stay at Tillary
Customer service front desk could be more hospitable and friendly. Was not aware of $250 security deposit even after I inquired with reservations total fees due up front. I was only advised of the $50 dollar fee. Room was smaller than advertised ice machines or water not available on room floor. I had to go to lobby and request ice. Housekeeping did not arrive during my stay to clean my room. I was not informed by front desk of amenities and where they were located including bar and breakfast area. I found these myself.
