Good location at the Quayside. Hotel a bit tired but clean nonetheless. Friendly staff and appreciated the free parking included with the deal. Think a 4pm check in on a Saturday a bit cheeky and isn’t clear when you book. It’s only when you get your invitation to check in that this is advised. Good stay overall for the price paid and would return if the same deal was available

Great hotel near the centre
Really nice room overlooking the river. Easily adjust heating. No room service which would be a welcome addition. Bit over zealous on the morning we left. Interrupted three times by housekeeping/ maintenance which was annoying. Would definitely stay again

Property really nice and would really recommend and will return only small complaint was lots of signs around the room telling us what not to do with fines being isuued etc if rules broken but No Brochure advising nearest fire exit, how to ring reception, local amenities, what time breakfast and dinner served etc. We had to keep asking

Spacious comfy rooms
Lovely hotel right on banks of the Tyne River. Great staff, large comfortable room with a full window view of the river and comfy beds. Breakfast was very good in the morning, lots of choice and tasty too. My only disappointment was the shower in the bathroom. It was quite weak and very old. A proper updated shower cubicle would be a great idea. Leaving that aside, there's a lot to like about this hotel.

Fine for last resort
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fine and bed comfy. However it was very cold in the room and the heating system didn’t seem to do anything. This was a last resort booking, don’t think I’d stay here again.
