Beautiful accommodation - all of our family had a wonderful stay. Staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with just the right amount of options. It arrived quickly and well presented. The bedrooms had lots of little extra touches to make the stay special. The property is traditional and maintained beautifully with lots of modern touches. We can’t wait to return in the near future.

We really loved the hotel, the room was great. Big comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Curly werly bar instead of biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities was a great touch. We ate at the restaurant two nights and the food was excellent. We will be staying here again and have recommended the Black horse to friends and family alike.

The go to Hotel for the races
Absolutely fantastic, 2 night stay to attend the racing at Catterick, top end accommodation, every member of staff we had contact with so polite and helpful and the food was superb. 10 out off 10 guys and girls.

Great Find, awesome pub
Staff were very friendly when we arrived, we were shown to our room in the coach house, which was lovely. Massive bed, attention to detail was wonderful. Nice selection of hot drinks in the room. Went for dinner in the pub restaurant oh my goodness the food was divine, lived every mouthful, very sad we were too full for dessert haha! Breakfast had a great selection, only negative was there was only one lady taking orders and a family that came in after us was served first so we had to wait 20 mins for our hot order to be taken, other than that we have only positive thoughts for the Black Horse. Great find, not far from where our nephew is based.

As property near Catterick Inn is horse themed with many individual finishing touches all rooms uniquelly decorated an amazing little jewel in the english countryside

Noisy dog in room next door, rock hard mattresses, mouldy bread for dinner and split hollandaise sauce for breakfast. Took card details even though i had prepaid. In case of damages....really?! Was a birthday weekend so very disappointed. Chef wants retraining. Staff underwhelming.
