You won't need to be on the road all day to soak up some nature. Just 35 kilometres out of Notia, Waterfall of Edessa is a wonderful place to get out into the fresh air. More peaceful surrounds are waiting for you at Goumenisa Waterfall, 25 kilometres away.

Soak up the scenery from the chairlift at Elatohori Ski Center as you think about your next run. Along with Kaimaktsalan Ski Center - Voras, this winter playground offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the region.

There's even more to see and do just around the corner. Gevgelija, 25 kilometres to the east, is popular for the Apollonia Casino and Gevgelija Museum. Alternatively, if Church of Goumenisa and Goumenisa Public Spring are more appealing, travel 25 kilometres southeast from Notia to Paionia.

Heraclea, the Memorial d'Orient and Stara Čaršija are all very close to Bitola, 75 kilometres to the west. Need some more excuses to visit? Mosques and Širok Sokak aren't far away either.
