Beautiful hotel which allows you to experience the magic of the area after the tourists have departed. Beautiful surroundings and fantastic breakfast.

Very cool and great location.

The property is lovely, and the food was amazing. We had breakfast on our reservation but they suggested that we added half board and dinner would be included as well, for 36 euros extra, per person, for a buffet. It was well worthy. Although the room was a bit far from the reception, we walk underground through a tunnel under the hotel, so it was not hard. Perhaps if you have heavy luggage it could be, due to some steps along the way, but the hotel was really nice and the 2 rooms spacious.

We loved our night at Hotel Sonne! The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. Our room had one bed and one pull out sofa-bed, but when we arrived, the sofa had already been made into a bed for us to eliminate the hassle! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Andreas (I believe he is part of ownership) at reception was unbelievable. He was friendly, warm, accommodating and took time to make suggestions for sites to visit. Gave instructions on beating Munich traffic and was just All around an informative and helpful person. I’d recommend this hotel based on our experience with him and the other members of the staff.
