It was a mixed bag. We had 2 rooms - one was great, one said newly renovated but looked anything like it (had old bathtub, small etc). Bellboy was not helpful, but people at the desk were helpful. Far from tourist attractions, but redeeming factor was the shuttle bus running every 15 mins that goes to osaka station.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Righa Hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive; every area was meticulously maintained, which added to our overall comfort. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. If I find myself back in Japan, I will choose to stay at Righa again!

Amazing Stay!
Amazing stay! Staff were super nice and even asked if we needed any recommendation. Room that we stayed at was very spacious. It is a little far from subway station but worth it since its quite at night. They also offer a shuttle every 15 minutes to Osaka station.

Enjoyable repeat stay at the RHIGA Hotel in Osaka
We ventured to Osaka after a stopover in Kyoto, staying at the RHIGA hotel in Osaka. We have stayed at the RHIGA Osaka several times in the past including a family trip in May 2023. We like the convenience of the hotel’s relative closeness to Osaka Station and having access to the hotel’s free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the JR Osaka Station. For some reason we ended up with a handicap accessible room which meant a very roomy bathroom. While our booking did not include breakfast there were many breakfast places to choose from at Osaka Station. I did note that the comforter and the pillows at the RHIGA Osaka were more comfortable that the RHIGA Kyoto and their shuttle bus started earlier and ended later than the shuttle service at the RHIGA Kyoto. Of special note were the international staff who greeted us when we approached the front desk and the concierge. The knowledgeable staff were able to answer our questions without us having to go to the front desk. I suspect this service is in preparation for the Osaka Expo which will be taking place in 2025. Great service, reasonable prices for an upscale hotel and the expanded hours of their shuttle bus are big pluses when looking for a hotel in Osaka that’s not too close to the train station

Great size room in a very large hotel. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was excellent (large with great amenities) especially for Japan. Was a distance from Osaka station but provided a bus shuttle which was convenient. Limited amenities in the immediate area. Nice pool but have to pay to use.

The staff was incredible, the room and bathroom are nice and clean, our only issue was the moldy smell in the room. They did provide a humidifier and air purifier but that room should be out of service. They have their on shuttle every 15 minutes to the train station, super convenient !
