There is not even a kettle in the room not even a glass. No telephone to talk to the reception. They did not have a rug in front of the bathroom door. The shower cubical is to small and wets the why bathroom when taking a shower

The staff here was so incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful. They were able to check us in right when we got there, even though we arrived an hour early. They also offer late check-out, which was really convenient for our late flight time. We were also able to keep our luggage there after we checked out and explored the city some more before we had to head to the airport. The bed was really comfortable, and the sheets, pillows, and comforter were all great—soft and supportive. Perfect location as a jumping off point for exploring Oslo and other surrounding towns in Norway. Fair warning to Americans: there is really no air conditioning, so it’s tough to get used to just relying on a cracked open window to keep the room cool. We were quite warm through the night. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but the rest of the room was nice. Amazing view from the 13th floor and great view from our room as well.

A bit shabby in parts but largely clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are lovely. However, it seems to be across the street from a drug user hostel/health centre/needle exchange and there were always people off their faces on drugs and police around. It didn’t feel unsafe exactly, intimidating at times for sure. Also there was a lot of shouting in the street all hours of the night. If this is all you can afford, as Oslo is very expensive, the hotel is nice enough. If you can afford better, I suggest you pay more and stay elsewhere

We got there on a hot day. Windows are inoperable. There is No AC. Ask for a fan at the desk, tgey have plenty you can borrow.

The location is excellent, very close to all the tourist attractions and transport links. The quality and choice at breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and had extras not found in our other Scandinavian hotels such as - 2 easy chairs, fridge, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities. If only BBC world news TV channel was available or possible, it would have been good on the night it was much too wet to walk around outside

The hotel is relatively close to the centre, large, quiet and clean. I've recommended the hotel to my friends and colleagues and I will stay there again the next time I visit Oslo. My only complaint was that the airconditoning didn't seem to work. As it was summer that meant I had to sleep with the window open and that meant a louder night than I would have had with the window closed and the a/c on

Had trouble with getting ac to cool or work so Our room and it was very hot. Area around the hotel is somewhat sketchy—-dirty on the streets witnessed some drug transactions, did not feel safe after dark.

Wonderful plentiful breakfast. Pleasant location with lots of coffee shops and grocery stores around. Tram stops very close to the entrance with easy access to other parts of Oslo. Wifi was not working due clearly to placement and capacity of the hotel’s wifi servers. The door to the room would’t lock until a few attempts. Yes, the door closes but is not locked when you leave the room. There is no shampoo. You would not want to wash your hair with whatever they got for the body soap. The room does get stuffy and the window can be opened barely two inches.

Front desk fellow that checked us in was super friendly. Room wasn’t the absolute cleanest (clump of hair left in the bathroom) but wasn’t a huge deal. Other front desk workers were less helpful than the first guy. Was most disappointed by the use of photoshop or a fisheye lens to make the bed seem MUCH larger in the booking photos than it was in real life- super shady thing to do!
