Saltwater 2 Apartments

The best location... Opposite beach. This two bedroom beachside apartment provides excellent accommodation with modern decor and a large enclosed front yard. Open plan living with modern fully equipped kitchen. Queen bed in main bedroom. The second bedroom has one bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed with trundle (total 5 persons), North facing front balcony gets sun all day and the property is opposite the beach. Lockup garage and plenty of parking for boats.

* across the road to Pambula Beach (patrolled summer only) - BBQ facilities,
children's playground, public toilets.

* across the road to Broken Oar Bar & Grill Cafe and convenience store with it's own
wood fired gourmet pizzas. The convenience store provides groceries and take-
aways.

* a 5 minute walk to the south to Lion's Beach and to Pambula River Mouth Beach
renown for its beauty, surf and safe swimming.

Attractions

Park the car and relax.

With a convenience store, bar and bistro, wood fired pizzas to eat in or take away, surf beach, parks, heated swimming pool, gym and Pambula River all at the doorstep, why get in the car during your holiday. Kangaroos are also regular visitors on the front reserve and beach.

If you do need to use the car, Pambula Village is only 3 kilometres away and also connected by a walking and bike trail, and Merimbula town centre is only 7 kilometres away, also connected with walking and biking trail, each with their own beauty and attractions.

A good choice of restaurants with Merimbula boasting a one hatted restaurant -Zanzibar. Other services and activities the area offers are the Picture Show Twin Cinema, ten pin bowling, bike tracks, skate parks, specialty shops, supermarkets, cafes, golf clubs, bowling club, hospital and airport.

During October and November take a whale watching trip at either Merimbula or Eden and all year round, dolphin watching cruises.

Surfboards and wetsuits can be hired from the general store at Pambula Beach and bikes hired from Merimbula Surf and Cycle at Merimbula.

We had a lovely time here - Thank you, Paul! The location is great, the view was wonderful and the place is your classic holiday apartment by the beach. Paul is a fantastic host! Prompt responses to all messages and clear instructions on the booklet in the apartment. We left our snorkelling fins on the balcony after check-out and Paul contacted us within an hour of check-out, we were able to come back and get our fins! Absolute legend! There were six of us staying (4 adults and 2 children) and we all enjoyed the beach, oyster farms and the surrounding locality. Our only observation was the hot water ran out one evening and it was cold showers for half of us, despite waiting a couple hours for the water tank reheat. Hot water resumed in the morning however, so not too much of a biggie (only for for the kids!). We had a great time and would love to come back and enjoy once more!

Perfect place to stay

We really enjoyed staying here. Easy walk to a beautiful beach. Loved watching all the amazing bird life from the verandah. Clean unit. Comfortable beds. Would highly recommend. The only thing we missed was a washing machine. Other than that it was perfect.

Perfect family holiday

We really loved the location, the property/units facilities, neighbourhood and the hosts were great. It’s hard to find affordable accommodation for a large family, but this one was perfect and we hope to return for a future holiday. Property included a lockable garage which was great for added security and all our bikes that we took with us. The shared laundry was great and kept clean, with pegs supplied. Units boasted a full kitchen and the added blessing of some little things (eg. Salt/pepper) provided. Location was great for walking down to the beach and enjoying a swim or down the road to the river to paddle a boat. Bike ride into either Pambula or Merimbula was a good ride, made easier but bike tracks the whole way. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Superb value for money

It is often difficult to find reasonable accommodation for 5 or 6 people so this was great! Perfect location for walking to the beach and easy drive to town, river mouth, or Merimbula. Plenty of places to eat, lots to do and cute local art shops too. Kangaroos and birds everywhere! Bathroom and kitchen were clean, lots of spare blankets and lots of room for a family to eat/lounge around. I'd highly recommend and can't wait to go again!

I have stayed here a number of times now and really love it. My only suggestion is that some Wifi would help out, as the town reception was a little shaky over the weekend, and I had hoped to do a little bit of work. Otherwise, fabulous! Thank you!

Beach just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Great little two bedroom beach home . Comfortable bed and great hot shower . As clean as most homes in that there some work needed in the bathroom ( old mould in silicone etc.) . Quick trip into Merimbula via the airport road for easy access to groceries etc. noting that there is not even a tea bag provided in the pantry of this property. The main beach in front of the surf club is great and just across the road/ car park . BBQ on the deck after a beach day was very relaxing. Undercover car parking is a plus too.
