Attractions and Hotels Near Pamplona

Always on the hunt for that next big, fat adventure? The wider Norte de Santander region has some brilliant things to check out as well. Don't even think of going home without stopping at a few of the region's stunning rivers. Old towns are also worth a peek. Energetic travellers can also try their hand at popular regional pastimes like hiking, bird watching and wildlife watching.

It's well known that Aussies are pretty laid back, so consider kicking back a little longer and checking out the Independence Square and the Cucuta Museum of Culture in Villa del Rosario, 55 kilometres to the northeast of Pamplona. The Hotel City House Bolivar Cúcuta by Faranda and Hotel Casa Blanca are just some of the great short and long-stay options here. 60 kilometres to the north of Pamplona you'll also find Cucuta, which is home to the Hotel Tonchala and Hotel Casino Internacional by Sercotel. Government Palace and the House of General Santander are among the more popular sites to explore when visiting Cucuta.

Pamplona it is! Let lastminute.com.au sort out the boring stuff while you pack your bags.

Hotel Dancar
Hotel Dancar Pamplona
3 / 5
The Hotel is conveniently placed 10 min walk from the Plaza. Rooms are adequate for a one day or two stay, basic, beds are very firm but if you are used to hard beds like I am its not a problem. En suite bathroom very tiny, only cold water, check in was fine, but from there on there is no particular level of service. Wi-Fi is reasonable given the remote, location of the town in the mountains. Parking can be negotiated with the garage owner opposite, he was very friendly. The main problem is the noise all day and all night from outside, The widows are single glazed and very thin, so you hear everything, very loud trucks, men shouting and dogs barking all night, so very little sleep, but the rooms are very cheap and its manageable for one night.
