Little Slice of Heaven
Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The location is at our preferred area of the beach. Although there was construction going on in the parking area, we never had an issue finding parking. Elevators all worked too. The condo unit itself is a little outdated. It is definitely time for a little refresh. None of that deterred from our amazing trip.

When we first arrived there was no toilet paper roller in the holder, the secondary security latch on the entrance door was broken but I notified RealJoy and they sent someone over within two hours and got it corrected. The mattress on the queen bed was terrible, seems to have been a cheap mattress to begin with, was not comfortable at all and our sleep was not very good based on that. The bunk bed mattress that the teenager slept on was good. I would not rent that property again or refer anyone to rent it. The area was very good and secure, which was good. Not enough handicap parking though.

Not good. Room 1406 the door was broken, there was no way to lock it from the inside. Cond rules are ridiculous. The pool rules are way too strict, especially if you have kids. No throwing pool toys, making kids get out of the pool the last 10 mins of every hour. Would not allow towels or life jackets/puddle jumpers to hang on balcony or balcony furniture. Way Too STRICT and RIDICULOUS with the Rules!

We loved our time in this condo! It was perfect for our family of 4 and exactly like it showed in the pictures. The pool and tiki bar area were top notch! Beautiful water and beach area too! We plan to stay again!

Nice property but wasn't the cleanest
The facilities were very nice and the unit itself was good but the cleanliness was subpar, the floors were super dirty, my daughter knees were black from crawling across the floor and the linens were not the cleanest. Hopefully it was just a fluke with the cleaning crew that day, they did come back in a reclean the floor for us which helped some.

Very Disappointed
The floors were filthy, you could walk from one end of the condo to the other and your feet would be black. All of the bed frames and the ladder to the bunk beds were stained black so obviously the floors have been this way for a while. There was no inside shower curtain just a decorative cotton one , so every time you took a shower the floor was soaking wet. The master bedroom comforter was turned backwards so I wouldn’t notice the all the stains and filth on it. It was so gross I pulled it off and washed a thin blanket to use all week. All of the other decorative pillows and bedding were Piled in the closet so you had little room left in it. The mattress was also very cheap and uncomfortable. The pool & restaurant/bar was great!

Unit Great - Property Not So Much
The unit was great, family loved it. The property as a whole was a let down by comparison. Has not been kept up (probably COVID related but still needs some work). The building was not as clean as the pictures, the Corner Market was never opened, the kids water play area and one of the two hot tubs were also closed for repairs. Weather was not great for parts of some days but the pool was left closed all day anyway, the afternoons were gorgeous and the kids couldn’t use the pool. The lobby and bar areas do not match the pictures anymore either, they have been left to deteriorate as well. Again the unit was great, it was completely as listed, the managing company for the building is letting their owners down. Would still rent again and wishing the HOA can do their part to correct the building issues.

Beautiful beach Disappointing Room
The beach was stunning & we loved the area. I’d give the room about a 2 out of 5. Before we had ever made it down to the beach I took off my shoes and there was so much grit on the floor - I wore socks the entire time. The pull out couch mattress is like paper thin. The couch itself was dirty. It felt damp when I sat on it which I tried to avoid at all costs. Bring your own paper towels because they only give you one roll and they only give you one trash can liner.

A few things to know about 1406
The facility was nice and the elevators are very fast. Appreciated the workers practicing social distancing and masking. Wished more tenants cared enough to wear masks in elevators and common areas. The beach chair service was superb. We had several family members stay at this facility and they worked with us to keep our chairs together yet was good to space out other sets which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant/bar food was outstanding. It was so good that we chose to eat dinner there twice instead of venturing out. You have to try the fried pickles and grouper tacos. The unit (1406) is located at the elevators. In fact your bedroom window faces all six elevators and the noise comes through at night. Also, due to lights coming in window your bedroom will have so much light it feels like a lamp is on. This was a problem for me as I need it dark to sleep. They did provide a few stickies to stick the curtains together but it did nothing for the 3 inch gap on the sides and top. Also, the unit was filthy when we arrived. Whomever they have clean failed to get trash up off the floor and rugs and the countertops had grit/sand on them and sticky in some places. Before we unloaded we spent about 1.5 hours sweeping and cleaning and used an entire container of Clorox wipes to wipe everything down and wash the sheets. I had two dust pans full of dirt and sand from the kitchen and living area alone. This was very disappointing and I submitted my complaint to RealJoy but got no response. I can say we left the unit in much better condition then we found it. The unit needs a little more attention and the bathroom sink would not drain very well. The couch was dirty; I couldn’t bring myself to sit on it. Otherwise the balcony was nice and had new patio furniture, which we enjoyed.

Had a wonderful time. Unit was as described. Grandkids really enjoyed the large pool. We enjoyed the beach and relaxing on the balcony. Would certainly recommend this unit.
