You won't need to travel far to find Pares, which lies 13 kilometres southeast of the dynamic city of St. John's.

Why don't you have a day out in Falmouth Harbour? It's just 6 kilometres to the southwest of Pares. Once you're there the first thing you'll want to do is explore the Nelson's Dockyard, a truly iconic attraction.

Fort James is in Freemans Village, 4 kilometres to the west. This terrific attraction is certainly worth the trip.

Dickenson Bay Beach and Turtle Beach are your best bets if you're searching for somewhere to kick back and relax.

There are some inviting natural sights just outside of Pares. Why not make your way 9 kilometres to Devil's Bridge? Alternatively, enjoy some of nature's best work at Hermitage Bay, 15 kilometres away.

If you're travelling via air, it's a wise idea to map your route to the terminal before leaving. From the centre of Pares, you'll need to travel about 90 kilometres south to Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport (PTP), the closest airport.
