It would've been nice to know one of the two lifts was out of service for maintenance as this made coming and going a drawn out affair. For this, and other reasons, I thought the building was showing its age. Staff were courteous - but lacked initiative. Apartment was clean and well stocked with soaps, etc.

Wrest point is an amazing destination with a variety of restaurants and bars, activities such as mini golf, and comfortable waters edge rooms. The only downside we found was whilst the bathrooms are renovated they don’t function efficiently and aren’t cleaned well.

We stayed in the waterfront ‘old’ section. Appeared recently renovated. But, the water had a yellow tinge and the gap under the room door was at least 2 inches. Doesn’t sound like much, but my son could use his phone to like up and down the hallway. Did ‘complain’ and the solution to both was some free bottled water and some rolled up towels as suggested by hotel staff. Apparently it is a plumbing issue and safe to drink…..no thanks.

I’ve stayed at Wrestpoint regularly. Accommodation is great. Parking is the best in Hobart. Restaurants are ok, breakfast is expensive if booked with accommodation.

The property was a bit dated. If you go get the water view, it makes a lot of difference. That view is beautiful. I dated at the motor inn later and that was a more dated.
