This hotel is within a 3 minite walk to Bangla rd, but far enough away for peace & quiet. The room is quaint, a little dated in the furnishings, but it does tie in with the rest of the hotel & location. The pool outside is nice & accomodating. Housekeeping were excellent!!
The bewildering part is..., this is the only Hotel that doesn't supply a Kettle, complimentary tea or coffee in your room. This I don't understand. Mind you, I'm not a coffee or tea drinker, so this didn't bother me, but for the 99% people in this world that drink the aforementioned, you'll be dissappointed by this. You can however get a kettle to your room, but you have to pay for it via reception. This is still, really, unacceptable by modern standards & management should re-think this one.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Would I stay there again?......Yes, I think I would. Lots of bars close by, cheap eats & market stalls selling anything & everything. Cheers
