Belle auberge ancestrale
Magnifique endroit avec personnel tres gentil et serviable Très bon lit et belle chambre sauf dommage aucune poubelle de recyclage dans la chambre ou salle de bain Et robinet du lavavo qui coulait un peu Aussi café de ce type de petite cafetière pas très bon pour de vrai amateur de café mais excellent au déjeuner ainsi que les gaufres.

It's never fun to arrive at a place and see that it's for sale, but it is what it is. The couple running the place were welcoming and I wish them all the best in finding someone to run this old inn that has a lot of history, a building part of the Montebello town, and has soo much potential for growth.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Auberge. It began with my wife and I catching a terrible virus the week before our trip. When I called the property owner to change our reservation to the following week, he was extremely rude and did not want to help me at all. Expedia saved the day and I was able to reschedule the trip for a week later. Once we arrived, the staff were amazing and were really kind and helpful. The property is really clean and well maintained. The hotel is old, I man really old and it is starting to show, the owners seem tired and ready to give up (we got some real Faulty Towers feel with Basil and Sybil vibes). The rooftop terrace is a real shambles and the pool water was bright green. Beautiful location, simple breakfast, staff was super helpful once at hotel. Again its clean, but tired and a little worn out. Our king size bed was okay, but my wife and I couldn't get comfortable. The sheets on the bed were a poly/cotton mix I think...it was a bit odd. Also, the auberge is up for sale and this could be the reason for our lack luster stay.

Very old but nice building unfortunately there was a lot of ladybugs in the room during our stay and had 2 fall on me while laying in the bed. One on my face and the other on my hand. I barely slept since I couldn’t fully relax due to the bugs. There was also a wasp in the room

If you want to feel like you're back in the old days and don't mind the small TV and opening a window but having to hold it with a cup to keep it open, then I would say book this hotel. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is a nice place. We had a great time and would book again! The staff was absolutely lovely!

Friendly welcome and very accommodating to my wishes. The room was simple and spacious and the air-conditioning was very good. I loved the swimming pool. Fresh made waffles and maple syrup for breakfast each morning.

Hotel is tired and furnishings were very dated. My room AC was really loud and kept going off and on all through night. Worst linens and pillows I’ve come across. Breakfast was typical of a chain low end hotel. Good parking, pool was nice and hotel location is good.
