This is not a hotel; the lodging consists of many different apartments in the La Spezia area. Parking is about a half mile away in public parking. So, you show up at the "hotel" and they check you in; thereafter, they tell you where to go in the town to find your apartment. The good news is that the apartment came with a washer, a full-sized refrigerator, a stove, pans, dishes, etc. So, we would visit the local fish market, get incredibly fresh fish and pasta, and then prepare an A dinner. Our apartment was near a local grocery store, so we were able to purchase all sorts of necessaries. The apartment was also walking distance to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to the various towns of Cinque Terre. So, if you want to visit Cinque Terre and you have a car, consider staying in La Spezia and getting one of these apartments. You can also walk around La Spezia which is safe, with lots of restaurants, and picturesque. Moreover, you can see Cinque Terre from the water via ferry. I wasn't sure what to expect with the "hotel" but it worked out great. I would stay here again.
