Enjoy beautiful Far North Queensland is to spend a morning or an afternoon snorkeling with the turtles on the Low Isles - Great Barrier Reef.
Early risers can hop on board one of the Calypso Reef Cruises taking just 30 minutes from Port Douglas Reef Marina, boarding at 7:15am.
The trip allows you two hours to snorkel in the calm lagoon or stay dry on the glass bottom boat, viewing the reefs variety of corals and marine life. Or simply relax on the beach and take in the peaceful surroundings.
The boat will have you back at the marina by 10.30am, leaving you the rest of the day to enjoy or enough time to get to the airport.
If slow mornings and lie-ins are more your thing, the same experience can be enjoyed in the afternoon, boarding at 2pm and returning at 5.15pm.
