My recent 9-night stay at the hotel from 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025 left much to be desired due to several service issues. Housekeeping repeatedly failed to replenish water bottles during room freshening, requiring me to call for water up to four times on multiple days. This is a basic standard that was glaringly overlooked.
Breakfast service was chaotic throughout the stay, with numerous complaints from guests about lost seating and the restaurant being unprepared for the number of bookings. This disorganization was evident every morning and detracted from the experience.
The room itself showed a lack of quality control. Curtains were falling, requiring maintenance to address the issue only after we had settled in. Additionally, the gym toilets were not cleaned during our stay, and no clear instructions were provided at check-in on how to access the gym smoothly.
Other disappointments included the children’s TV service, which was unavailable for the first two days, further highlighting the poor service standards. Despite these issues, I must commend the chefs for their excellent food quality and culinary expertise. However, the service staff’s inefficiency undermined the efforts of the kitchen team.
Overall, the poor service and lack of attention to detail made for a frustrating experience, overshadowing the positive aspects of our stay.
