Wonderful hotel experience - Great location. Staff were amazing. Room was beautiful in size & layout, but shame about the quality of the window furnishings - apart from being dirty & damaged, their quality does not appear to be aligned with quality standards you would expect at the Ritz-Carlton.

location is excellent. the whole building is fantastic with views to die for from the bedroom, the bed and pillows were so comfy and along with the block out blinds we had a fantastic sleep. Will be back soon.

The Ritz is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. But unfortunately there were some issues with our stay. The first was that we had a car and were given no choice but to use valet parking, which turned out to be $70 per day but nobody told us that until the end of our stay. The second was that when we checked in we were told we could get late check out at 12noon because we had a baby with us but on check out day we were told we had to vacate by 11am and they wouldn’t accommodate us. The third was that after check out, we had emailed the hotel concierge (that we had been emailing back and forth with previously) asking about a forgotten phone charger and they no longer responded to us. These issues aren’t very acceptable coming from such an expensive and high end hotel that we paid a lot of money to stay at.

Good hotel with not so comfortable bed.
The hotel itself overall ok. Location is convenient to get around Perth. However there are plenty of drawbacks. Hotel rooms not that clean, dust is everywhere above eye levels. Bathrooms mirrors hell of a dirty for upper half. Mattress extremely uncomfortable and don’t have topper . Whole mattress shaking like it’s an earthquake when one of us gently moves form back to side. So it’s a frame design not so suitable for a hotel. Windows not tinted so there are less privacy even your view is gorgeous you barely enjoyed it as everyone else will see you naked or undressed feels like you been watched all the time for a building near by. Also For our 10 days staying concierge say hi only once. On a good side rooms spacious enough and doubles sink is very practical. Location is convenient and all is in walkable distance even Kings park.

Stay away as this is not the usual Ritz expected
One of the worst ritz experience. Does not deserve the 5* and is totally below par as compared to Ritz in other countries. Hotel is short handed and there’s no communication between different department. Check in process : extremely slow with only 1 person working at 4pm. System was down apparently and the front desk have to attempt a couple of times for our payment. Parking: No free parking provided even for stay in guest. We paid for valet at 70aud per day. We arrived in our rented Mitsubishi car, another guest who arrived with a luxury car honked us while we tried to get our car parked by the valet. I was upset instead of attending to us, the valet request us to move our car for the other patron. I refused and informed the valet we are a full paying guest as well and he shouldn’t act in that manner. Collection of cars : On first night, apparently there is a function, we waited almost 30 mins to get our car. Poor Customer service : 1) Prior to arrival i emailed the hotel that’s it’s my anniversary and would like to have something arranged for my wife. Everything is confirmed but upon arrival nothing is prepared. Front desk said they have not receive the instruction and will prepare it now. We went out for dinner and back to the room after 2 hours and Volaaa nothing is prepared still until we called and ask again. Surprise is not much of a surprise anymore by now.
