The Location - This one bedroom first floor apartment is situated in the heart of Shoal Bay overlooking Shoal Bay Beach with the beach on your door step. Take a stroll from your unit to discover a selection of restaurants, bars, boutique shops and of course the beautiful white sands and clear blue waters of Shoal Bay Beach. Enjoy a drink in a bar, lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants, swimming or relaxing on the beach. You can hire Kayaks and Stand up paddle boards in the summer and Easter school holiday or hire a bicycle for a tour of the area. Only 800m away is the stunning Tomaree Mountain which offers magnificent views from the summit. Fingal Bay (patrolled surf beach) is only 2.5km away and Nelson Bay is 3km away.

The Unit - This lovely modern first floor studio apartment is the perfect place to relax for your next beach side getaway. Enjoy North facing seabreezes from the balcony which is fitted with a bar style table, comfortable bar stools and a small electric BBQ. Take in the magnificent water views of Shoal Bay and the surrounding headlands. The apartment offers a combined living and dining area featuring a round dining table and four chairs, a modern leather, sofa bed, lounge and a large flat screen, smart TV and a stereo radio/CD player. The property also comes fitted with ducted air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The functional kitchenette offers a toaster oven with an induction hot plate, kettle, microwave and a bar fridge.

The bedroom has a king bed and a mirrored built in robe, with the lounge offering a double sofa bed. Newly renovated walk in shower. There is no internal laundry however there is paid laundry facilities that you can use at the Ramada. One car space in a secure car park is provided for you with lift access up to your apartment.

Experience was good. Close to all amenities.
Easy to collect key after hours, however the directions to the apartment were not clear and allotted carpark number was not provided. The apartment was ontop of a function centre, meaning that the sound from events below was heard until late on each night of our stay. The shower had mould around tiles and spa outlets. However, the view and location was great!

Not far from Sydney, very good position in Shoal Bay, very quiet. We found the flat confortable et well equipped but a bit outdated. But overall a confortable stay.

White sands - Shoal Bay
The property is in a great location with great aspect. It was clean and tidy and the description matched the property. Our four night stay included a Fri & Sat night which were noisy outside from the function centre and pub downstairs. The air con did not work properly in the bedroom which meant leaving the balcony doors open and the noise being a problem. The aircon worked fine in the main area of the apartment but the zone for the bedroom did not and made the stay very frustrating. Overall we did not think it was value for money and were disappointed.
