Staff is friendly. Room was clean but starting to show age. Scratch marks on walls and on furniture. Booked a king bed room only to find out when I got there that they had none available and was given a 2 queen bed room instead. Disappointed. Underground parking is an asset. Worth the extra $10. Secure and warm vehicle.

Critter in my room.
We saw a mouse in the hallway on our floor. And then I heard rustling sounds in my room early in the morning. It was not a pleasant stay as a result. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately this property is losing some of its amenities due to poor maintenance. The staff have also lost some of their professionalism, and the prices keep climbing. It's a regular stay for me because of the underground parking, but it may be time to start looking farther outside the downtown core. A very disappointing experience this time for $170/night

I appreciated how friendly the staff and housekeepers were to me in requesting extra coffee. And the staff promptly investigated the room above me because there was ongoing noise when I got to my room. She told me it was housecleaning cleaning the room, thus all the noise. I would recommend more luggage carts, as there are only two available for the whole place!

This is a gem of a hotel, very good value for the money. Have stayed here 10-12 times for 3-4 nights. Only negative, the hotel is in a sketchy area downtown. If it wasn’t for the secure underground hotel parking I would never ever have stayed here.
